The mattress was horrible. Not sure what is it made of, but it's impossible to get a good night's sleep on it, I used to have much better naps just lying on the floor or ground in a sleeping bag. Pillows are also more of a symbol, almost flat and don't provide any support for your head. Another problem is cardboard walls, which don't block any sounds from other rooms. So if you have any neighbours at all, even the quieter ones, coming to their room at night - good luck with falling asleep.

The breakfast was great, which really saves the place from a lower grade:) It's a standard continental-breakfast buffet, but organised very neatly. Incredible value for its money. The hotel is also just 3 minutes away from a metro and a tram station and has several cafes and at least one nice bakery nearby.

The overall facilities are quite nice, the room is a bit smaller and nothing glamorous, but it’s clean and absolutely fine for the money you’re paying. Most importantly, all the staff is extremely polite and always try to help.

Away from the hustle bustle of Frankfurt Main, IBIS is located in a silent and calm location. It is near the tram station which can take you to the Frankfurt main and also has a train station in walking distance where travel can be faster. Rooms are clean though a little small but cannot complain considering the price to value, which is nice! The room has an amazing view as well. And the staff was friendly as well. IBIS is recommended for a budget trip around Frankfurt for sure!

Everything was good and clean we were lucky to find a parking space near the hotel and we didn’t have to pay for a garage I liked the location. we walked to the centre without using any public transport, it didn't take long When I saw how other guests wrote about how small the room is I thought it was exaggeration, but yeah it’s really pretty small But still for a one night stay it’s enough

The towel and blankets were both changed after one day. We didn't really request so. Just think maybe it is more envoirnment friendly to change when the customers request. But overall there is not so much that I can complain about.

The location is really convenient and room is big enough for two. I like to design of separating bathroom and toilet. Washtub is separate which I also like. I ordered hotel breakfast. Breakfast option is not that a lot, but still enough.

Didn’t like the fact the shower was inside the room, felt awkward. But despite that, it was all fine.

Stayed there for a night. Comfortable room, safe area (I was looking somewhere far from the central stations, which scared me a lot). 10min walk from a subway station - ostendstrasse - that went straight to the airport, which was perfect!!) Breakfast was fine, great options.

The sink, the shower and the toilet were separated, but not in the wise way - the sink was right in the bedroom and while the shower tube has a glass door to protect the bedroom from water, the sink does not. The light in the toilet is automatic - when you walk in it lights up and then it goes down 1-2 minutes later and you need to wave your hands like crazy to make it light up again while you're using the toilet. This is disrespectful to basic human needs. Also, if your neighbor from the upper floor flushes toilet at night you will hear that. The shower handle moves only in one direction and you can't control the heater temperature - it changes from hot to warm, lukewarm and cold and the opposite without touching anything. Terrible experience, especially, when it's winter.

The mattresses and the pillows were good, I had a good sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful - we got a hairdryer and hot water (there was no kettle but the staff let us to use the hot water from the caffe). Also there was only one hand towel in the room, and when we told about that in the reception, we immediately got the second one. Pity I forgot to ask about the shower mat - turns out there should be one in the room, but we didn't have it. The location is ok - there are metro and tram stations nearby. If you enjoy walks near river, you can get to the city center in about 24 minutes. The biggest disadvantage are the people near metro station - they kind of made me feel unsafe.

The only negative thing I can think of is that the rooms can get loud sometimes because of outside traffic.

Ibis Budget Frankfurt City Ost is my go to hotel in Frankfurt when I'm catching a flight. It is easily accessible from the main train station and is close to both the city centre and the airport. The area is calm and I felt safe. The staff was always nice and helpful, my flight got pushed back one day and they let me extend my stay with no problem. The wi-fi is good as well.

Could hear the people in the other room but it was not annoying. Perhaps guests should be reminded that there are othere guest in the hotel and that the walls are not too thick!!
