I had a truly nice 2-night stay here. I chose the hotel for its location near the train station, because my plan was to go on day trips by train each day and then leave for the airport by bus that departs from the same train station. The plan worked perfectly. The room was adequate, no complaints. The breakfast was also adequate. (A budget hotel that can boil an egg is wonderful in my opinion!) The receptionist was very nice, she answered my various questions and helped me to find out about the bus to the airport.

The free WiFi is completely freely accessible (no password at all), so anyone standing in the street would be able to access it. Therefore, I could not use it for work as my company (quite sensibly) does not allow us to log into insecure WiFi with work devices or access work resources. That was very annoying.

The rooms were clean and serviceable and the TV worked well. The breakfast was fine but a little repetitive.

Room was too small for more than one person, no hand towels. I was told that was because it is a budget hotel (that doesn't mean people don't dry their hands). No toiletries, no hair dryer, no mini-fridge. The air conditioner made weird noises throughout the night. No phone in room (had to go down to the lobby in the evening to ask for an extra pillow and was told it was best to do that before 6pm because the staff member was alone. I was then given a pillow without a pillow-case. Other staff were extremely friendly and helpful).

The hotel and rooms are very clean, the location is wonderful (right next to the central station and a 7-10 minute walk to the historic center), most staff was friendly. The breakfast is simple, but ok (not enough fruit). Had elevator, new building, outlets next to both beds (allows overnight phone charging), air conditioner. It is better or equal to many 3/4 star hotels except with small rooms and less amenities/toiletries. Design and cleaness are the same or better.

It was truly basic! They had one iron for the entire hotel! During 5 nights stay, I didn’t manage to have that iron.

The absence of a real chair in the room made the experience a bit uncomfortable. What I found annoying was that the cleaning lady repeatedly knocked on my door starting from 8 am onwards on my departure date - even though check out was much later. In the end I ended up leaving way earlier than I needed and ended up at a cafe in the train station.

Based on previous reviews I wasn't expecting much. However, it wasn't to bad. Bed and shower were great. Thanks to previous reviews I knew there wouldn't be a hairdryer and a second towel, so I asked for it during check in and got both immediately.

Typical Ibis budget, somewhat higher than average, nearly new, comfy and nice overall. Very good location, at the border between the historic center and the more modern part of the city. Close to everything: historic downtown, restaurants, grosseries and all the touristic stuff in 10 minutes by foot. Central railway station 5 minutes walk, moderately priced parking building next door. We drew in by car and it was more than comfortable for such a relatively big city downtown. Surroundings feel safe despite the railway station, which is also look clean and safe per se. Very decent breakfast which is not always the case for Ibis Budget but here it was fairly worth the money.

No hooks in the bathroom or room to put two persons toiletries. Nothing to put shower gel or soap in shower. It was budget hotelbut still 70 euros per night.

Very convenient for walking into Munster and next to the station but not noisy. Staff were friendly and it was comfortable and clean.

Breakfast was the same each day, no warm options, just bread with some toppings and muesli with yogurt. The price performance for breakfast was not good. Hairdryer for deposit, not many places where to hang or put clothes.
