How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Small rooms, bad smell everywhere including the room. Not for the price I paid, but very high demand due the IWA so they ask more for a room.
Pretty central, close to restaurants Free parking is a plus.

Despite the super comfy bed, I don't think the stay is worth the money I paid. The room was small, the rubber around the shower door was torn, so there was water on the floor in front of the shower cabin after I used it. For almost 100€, I was expecting more and better.
The location of the hotel was excellent (I stayed overnight because of an event and the venue was only 5 minutes away on foot). There was a bus stop nearby, as well as a subway station. I also liked how quiet it was. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

the shower door was very see through and the mirror was right opposite to it so anyone could just see you shower,
nice room and free wifi, soundproofed rooms so we couldnt hear any neighbours , location was alright as it was a 30/40 minute to the city centre

1. One must check the "fine prints" for additional costs specially with travelling with kids. 2. The breakfast options compared to other Ibis budget hotels ( e.g, Wurzburg,Strasbourg..) was really limited.
We liked the friendliness of the reception during checking and during the breakfast

check in was strange you paid for one night at the kiosk downstairs and then had to pay for remaining at reception but this was not explained until I questioned how it worked

You can hear people walking in the hallway and other rooms more than usual
For the money you pay it’s worth it, you have free parking, wi-fi, staff was friendly, breakfast was ok

It was all very basic, which we were expecting because of the price, it was a bit weird that the shower was next to one of the beds but at least we had the toilet to get changed in. The lady on reception was great though, we were having trouble ordering a taxi as our German isn't great and she called a local taxi firm for us.

The hotel features standard Ibis budget quality. It's located outside the city center, which is accessible in 20 minutes via bus (2 stops) and then underground metro (3-4 stops). Free parking at the hotel was appreciated.

as the hotel says: it is a budget hotel so expect budget. It does it job fine but no sparkles. for us it worked great for a stayover but I wouldnt stay here for multiple nights. free parking was a nice touch!

The location or the hotel is in a light industrial estate, between a couple warehouses and a college. On the other side of the road on the way to the metro the housing a bit rough. 10 min walk to metro and 4 stops to the centre.
Clean, simple room, very cheap for the city.

A lot of stairs and no lift.
Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable, as expected at this level of hotel. The staff were really helpful, especially the man who checked us in, I wish I had got his name.

Nothing to complain about
The room was silent, night was pleasant. Stuff helpful. Parking is available for all clients free of charge. The city center is well connected and it is a 25-minutes walk. Value for money

The two-person beds are not really large (140), and the towels are very 'basic', but apart from that, not a lot to complain about in the perspective of the hotel formula
The hotel formula is basic so it would be unfair to judge it by what it is not offering, as you know that beforehand. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is basic but fresh. A plus is the definitely also the parking lot.

Only 1 bed was made. No one at reception because it was late at night... No way to lock the toilet door.
