Peaceful and quiet. Close to the bus station. The bed was surprisingly confy.

Room was dirty. Didn’t look like anyone sweep underneath the bed in weeks. The air conditioning wasn’t working and no fan in the room.

Easy to find and the convenience of the location to the airport. The prices was a plus as well.

Arriving at night it felt a little ‘shady’ - the parking lot was well lit though. There weren’t enough parking spaces (we were lucky to score the very last one).

The breakfast was overpriced at 10 EURO. The hotel did not have any other negative characteristics.

The room was clean and secure, and the hotel was a good value for location. It is right near a bus stop that allows travel to downtown Wiesbaden. The local area was clean and quiet. Even though “Budget” is in the hotel name, it was not a run down or poorly maintained building.

Ibis did not have my Booking.com reservation, even after I confirmed it. When calling for help about public transportation to get there, the central Ibis operators answering the phone could not assist me. They tried to contact the hotel directly with no success. They gave me the # to the hotel to contact, but after a half dozen attempts and no answers, I gave up. The reception clerk was as helpful as he could. He said I had no reservation. He had to contact his supervisor (he said) in order to provide me with a room. The fact that there is no elevator, in this day & age, with a facility that isn't all that old amazes me. You need to come into the 21st century hotel market and update this hotel. On the 1st breakfast day, the coffee machine became non-operational. The reception clerk was nowhere to be found. There were 2 other guests waiting to get a cup of coffee too. So I found the cleaning crew on the ground floor. The man tinkered around with it, then disappeared. Bottom line, no coffee. Upon going to breakfast my last day, I arrived at about 0910. There was 1 roll left. After I ate that I asked the reception clerk at 0925 if there were any additional rolls. He said it was too late and breakfast would be over at 0930. I asked if he could check, and he said there was nothing left and he did not check. It's not the right answer. I would like to note that the same man (without a name tag to ID him) was present in the hotel and seemed to be responsible for everything. He did the check-in/out, vaccuming the entry, arranged breakfast, ect.

I'd booked the room for three people, but bedding for two was provided upon arrival; I did ask for and receive more, of course, but felt like this should have been settled upon arrival. The window handle in our room was partially broken and didn't operate very well. The facilities outside of the room (parking lot, entry, area) were less appealing than and not as well kept as the room itself.

The room itself was clean and updated with a convenient and space-saving bunk bed layout. Lighting controls from the bed added convenience, as did the in-room sink and shower, which was great for our small family on a quick overnight stay. The simple continental breakfast was exactly what we needed for this stay. The price couldn't be beat, and access to both the Frankfurt Airport and Wiesbaden were incredibly convenient.

There was no option to have a mini fridge in the room. There was a loud party one evening that lasted well into the night making it hard to fall asleep.

The location was what I was looking for. The price was good. The room size was just fine.

Having booked over Booking, I did not receive the hotel's separate booking number they use for the self check-in machine. If I hadn't called ahead of time to double check, I would have been left standing at midnight unable to check in. Moreover, the light in the toilet didn't work and started making a rattling noise from 3AM onwards, only to be topped by an overeager cleaning lady who thought it was a good idea to start knocking 10-12 times at 8.05AM while check-out is at 11.30AM. It's completely irrelevant whether someone has a do not disturb sign on the door or not - guests should not be bothered at 8.05 for any reason whatsoever besides emergencies. Overall, I'm hoping this was a fluke and a possible next time might be more comfortable.

Ideal location, free parking included, easy self check-in process.
