There were a little long distrance to walk to the center of Lubeck with two small kids.

The hotel funcioned well for our stay in nothern germany. easy acces to freeway and center og town. The room souted our family well.

Not the most central location but around a 20min walk to the Old Town :)

The breakfast was good. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Parking was secure! A very good first stop for us on our trip to Spain :)

Too warm, before we arrived to room, there was heater turned on to maximum. But in the room there was no any air conditioner. So we slept with opened windows which also can’t open full. So there was very hot inside with no opportunity to cool it down. Useless using of heater electricity, unfortunately. And there was a phone in the room which didn’t work.

The bathroom was likely not cleaned. There were towels still hanging on the shower door. They were not folded so we assumed they were used. We did not use them. The trash also was not emptied; it was full. Drinking class in bathroom was also used. Turning on the aircondition caused me an allergic reaction. I had to take a Clarytine to calm it down. It may be that the air-conditioning fan is not cleaned and accumulated dust. Lastly, housekeeping came in when we weren't checked out yet. It was about 11.40 am while checkout was at 12 noon.

The staff are friendly. The bed was cozy and I like the little closet and working area near the window. There's a bus stop just across the street if you don't want to walk to old town. But if you do, it's about 15mins walk to Holstentor gate. Checkin and checkout were quick.

Staffing was very poor one person for reception and also the bar. Very poor service as a large group of us booked this hotel and arrived back to the hotel at the same time with no one to man the bar ax they were performing reception duties. More than one member of staff required.

Location is quite far from centre of town. Rooms starting to feel a tiny bit dated (bit this is being picky).

Peaceful, comfortable hotel. Room was a good size, it was clean, with a good shower and a comfortable bed. Dogs accepted in all rooms, very convenient. Parking onsite. Everything I needed for a one night passing stay.

I dislike paying for parking at any hotel - note that I think the streets are free to park on so you might not need to pay unless you want covered parking. No fridge or kettle in room.

- very expensive for what you get - rickety lift - had to choose 1h breakfast slot because the breakfast room too small. If you arrive late you have to take what’s left - industrial bread rolls, but no nice whole meal bread rolls - fruit in fresh fruit salad was hard - no tea/coffee making facilities in the room - only one side of the bed had sockets

+ Friendly staff + easy to reach by car + waffle machine at breakfast + late check-out time (noon) + big TV and good choice of TV station +A/C + good darkening curtains + spiral staircase with top to bottom windows a nice alternative to the rickety lift

Very helpful and nice staff. 5 euro parking in the yard or 10 euro in the garage are pretty good prices. The hotel is 15 minutes walk from the very city center.
