How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

Windows need better insulation. I could hear the trams and I could not sleep that well.
Given the outrageous prices for Berlin nowadays, this hotel was the best match in terms of value, location and needs. The staff was very professional, efficient and acommodating. The room was decorated with gusto in allignment with the Berlin spirit, so I forgot how small it was. The hotel is located in an area full of restaurants and all public transportation offers ( tram, bus, metro ) and a short walk away from major S-bahns and AlexanderPlatz.

I know this was very good value for Berlin but, if the rooms could only have been smaller in a Japanese pod-style hotel.
The staff were all very polite and very helpful.

Lighting could be a little better, there were three lamps in the room but no main light on the ceiling so room felt a bit dark in the evening.
Location is perfect, short walk from Alexanderplatz. Metro, tram and bus stops are right in front of the hotel. Also, many restorants and fastfoods nearby to choose from. Room was bright and colorful, bed is comfortable, everything very clean. Good wifi in the room.

If you intend to stay at this hotel request an interior room because it's super noisy outside, we hardly slept for how loud it was and we were in a 4th floor. The street is very busy because the trams run 24h a day and also a LOT of ambulances pass by during the night.
The staff was incredibly friendly. Check-in and check out was very easy. The hotel looks a little worn out but it was clean and the room was comfortable. Great location.

The bathroom was 'open plan' so not much privacy.
Brilliant location with good public transport and possible to walk around lots of Berlin. This was an easy, fun hotel and a great price. This was a nice quiet twin room.

Lower floors noisy. Breakfast was expensive for what was on offer. Was told by management, at check in, that coffee and tea were free all day long. But got attitude from TWO staff members when taking ONLY a coffee and a tea TO GO, at breakfast time, on the last day of our stay. To the credit of management, we did recieve an apology later that day. But this soured me on this hotel. We stayed 5 nights. Bathroom was cleaned daily. But the rest of the room appeared not to be cleaned at all. Definatly no vacuming or changing of the sheets were done.
Great location. Close to everything. The management was helpful in changing our room to an upper floor. Got a great room on top floor with view. It seems to me that this hotel is good for short stays.

There was space between door hinge and the door through the height of the door. So, all smell was in the room. Ventilation was not working. So we had to keep window open whole day.
Location is good. Near to metro station. Staff is good. Room was clean.

Couldn’t adjust heating in room and was very hot and lighting in room really poor. I think a light above bed was not working. I did report it but nothing was done

Nothing major but the pillows were so bad. There was not a proper hanger or a chair to put clothes,again nothing major but it would be nice to have.
The location is amazing, very close to chic places and next to the subway! The hotels serve every expectation of a chain hotel. Kind staff and clean room.

We only missed a TV with YouTube connection since that all TV channels are in German.
Location, cleanliness, staff and mostly important: free sparkling water 24/7 😍 Groceries stores and amazing shop/restaurants nearby.

One central light in the bedroom was necessary and, at least, one more socket next to one of the beds.
