I would approach the dog policy to be implemented also on the double room and higher levels not only a single beds room up until the 4th floor.

The hotel’s dog-friendly policy was appreciated, though it’s worth noting that it applies only up to the 4th floor and specifically to the twin bedrooms with single beds. However, the beds can be easily connected, which was a handy feature. Dining here was a culinary delight. The breakfast offered a wide range of delicious choices, ensuring a great start to the day. The dinner, especially the fish soup and fish and chips, was of top quality and highly enjoyable. Dogs are also accepted in the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast, major major plus. I was staying in vitamar house, so internet did not work for couple of days of my stay, and during 9 days, in vitamar indoor pool activating bubbles did not work.

It has lots of facilities outdoor and indoor, so even if the weather was not the best we could enjoy our time by using indoor facilities. Restaurants are a bit expensive but variety of food is available. Staff is very friendly. We asked for net to the room window, and they made it immediately.

we could enter the room first at 5 pm. we had to leave it already at 10 am. We booked the stay in Haus Vitamar so that we would have the possibility to go to swimming pool, and when we wanted to use it we found out that in the week one can use it from 3 pm. This should be mentioned at arrival. There was no buffet for children for breakfast and dinner.

The restaurants in the hotel were not very good (13 Euros for a plain spaghetti) and the pizza we ordered from the Italian restaurant was over cooked (almost burned, but still edible). The elevators were slow, luckily we were able to also take the stairs.

Our view of the ocean was great. The rooms were clean and the office staff was pleasant.

We had breakfast and dinner 3 times and while it was overall satisfactory we missed some good seafood. I remember this hotel from many years ago and the overall F&B offering was clearly better. I felt sorry with the friendly waiter and waitresses. Totally overworked, yet smiling.

Location with easy access, easy check in and friendly front office personal was great. For kids a paradise with the beach right in front. Great view from a high floor. All in all, it was a great stay and for families with 1 or 2 kids perfectly all right.

Room layout felt squeezed and the facilities hadn’t been modernised for decades - but this is also reflected in the price level. Staff service level could have been better and insisting on only communicating in German, which stretched my school German capabilities

The rooms need a good deep clean and switch out some furniture. they are very tired looking. people are smoking on their balconies and that smoke sits in the room once you have a window or door open. but the room has no AC, so you needed a window open. Bad circle.

The reception area and restaurants were amazing. Smelled clean and looked clean. Staff was very polite and nice. Windrose buffet for dinner is great value.
