There is no curtain/blind on the window, which is okay if you can sleep in a bright light - I can't. It's in the nightclub strip and so can be somewhat noisy after midnight. I'd been there previously and so took an eye-shade and ear plugs which completely solved the problems.

Location was excellent - 100m from the U-bahn. Clean and tidy. Staff very friendly. A most acceptable boutique hotel.

No any ventilation in the room, it was too hot at night. The door and window look into very narrow yard - unpleasant place actually and quite noisy.

Location is very good. That actually made a price. The room was comfortable for a single traveller with a hand luggage. WC/Bathroom was clean. There was a cattle with tea bas and water available in the room. All personnel were very cooperative and polite.

There were no aircon or fan. Rooms very humid. When you open the windows, you have a lot of city noise etc. You could smell cigarette smoke in the hallways. Shower door leaked. Cramped entrance hall.

Amazing location in Cologne. We were able to park in the parking garages across from the hotel. Room was clean. Bathroom fully equipped. High quality bedding. Received welcoming chocolates. Reception was able to communicate in English.

The cleaning staff could be more quiet with their music, but apart from that I have nothing else to add.

The staff was really helpful, polite and welcoming and the room, albeit quite small, was very clean, pleasantly warm, with a spacious, comfy and soft (but not too soft) bed and a small fridge. The bathroom was medium-sized but the shower cabin was simply great! The Friesenplatz station is a mere 2-minutes walk, there is a Rewe supermarkt right across the street and a Burger King less than 5 minutes away. The surrounding area is safe and you can have a very pleasant 15-minute walk to the Kölner Dom. I highly recommend this hotel, I will totally visit again!

The toilet there was too high, and it was uncomfortable to use it. Our feet were in the air all the time. For sure, it's not for people less than 165 sm xD Cleaning wasn't great. As there were no sleepers, we needed to walk in the room in the same shoes we wear outside. After first night cleaners didn't do anything with floor, it was same dirty when mlwe came. The next day, no one came at all. Sign was outside the room before 1 as it should. The room was really cold. We needed to sleep with the open bathroom door as there heating works great. Room heating was not enough even though we tried it on maximum. Also, someone opened the door in our room while we were in bed. It was a bit weird and disappointing. But we had no chance to see who it was.

A woman in the reception was amazing. Kind, friendly, and very helpful. I love it a lot. She's the best in this hotel. The size of the room was very nice. Comfortable bed and shower. Everything is absolutely the same as at photos. Safe in the room. Separate heating for shower and room. I was pleased with the presence of a hair dryer in the bathroom. The curtains are beautiful, they do not let the light through at all. Great for a good night's sleep.

There was loud noise from the nearby club until late night. Kinda disturbing since we had a flight the next day early morning. Probably it depends on the rooms.

The location was good in terms of accessibility. Room was decent for our short stay. All facilities were provided including electric kettle, tea bags.

The first night we arrived, they refused to give us the rooms we rented on booking.com. While there were windows and balconies in the photos of the rooms we rented, the room they gave us did not have these. Later, when we objected to these points, they gave the rooms we was supposed to have. This isn't fair

The hotel is surrounded by night clubs, so you do hear the music. I also thought it was pretty expensive for 1 night. I really think it could be a nice hotel but they don’t take care of it, that’s too bad.

We only had a small complaint re the TV in our room as we could not find any stations. This may have been our fault as we are not sure whether we could work the TV in the room properly or not.

We did not have breakfast in the hotel obviously, but, we were eternally grateful for the coffee/tea making facilities in the room. We also liked the fact that the hotel is very central, and in fact we were able to walk from the station to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. We really had nothing to fault. We will recommend this hotel to family and /or friends.

The room was so hot!!! We had to open the windows a lot and could not figure out how to cool it down. Staff were nice but seemed to always be smoking or chatting with their friends out the front of the building, didn’t go out of their way to assist.

The location of the hotel is good and near the station. It takes about 20mins to the Cologne Cathedral on foot. The room is tidy and has good sound isolation. It is quiet at night even though there are some bars and night club nearby.

Small rooms, with some some sort construction work going on, and it was a bit dated. Considering the price, there are better options out there, but it was fine.
