The parking was too expensive and didn’t work well, because the ticket system was broken. Also breakfast was too expensive so we went to a different place.

The rainshower wasn’t working, but the other showerhead was so I didn’t complain. I think if I did I would’ve gotten another room, but the problem was not big enough for me to change rooms. Besides this, no complaints :)

Hotel blocks 50 euro per day on the card, to cover e.g meals in restaurant etc and other non-specified potential purchases in hotel. The fact that they do not tell this beforehand and these potential expenses seem very whimsical is not good. Also staff appears to be very junior, as if this hotel was run by teenagers.

It was rather noisy. We heard other guests in rooms near to us. Furthermore it was rather hot in the room and we could do nothing else then open the window (with noise from the street).

The location on walking distance of the centre and near to parking places. The good breakfast on the top floor with a wonderful view over the old city. And the free drinks in the fridge in the hotel room.

There was a silverfish crawling in the toilet but otherwise everything was clean and up to standard!

Great location near the city center! Nice staff at the reception. Clean room and comfortable bed. The complementary minibar with water and special soda was a nice touch! Water boiler plus coffee/tea provided as well.

The blanket on the bed is too short. Either you tuck it in at the end of the bed, or it covers your shoulders leaving your feet uncovered. The gluten free and lactose free options for breakfast are a bit limited although it's nice that they are there!

They provide tea sachets at the property but instead of being breakfast tea - they were random flavours - on day 1 we had breakfast tea., and only two milks were provided. So when we arrived and wanted tea and coffee there was nothing for the following morning. We’re stingy for a quite expensive hotel.

Innside by Melia Aachen Well located a short walk along a pedestrian path to the cathedral, town hall, town center.. I did not purchase the breakfast, there are Bakery shops nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful. Lovely square near the cathedral. Good value for the money.
