The breakfast area can be very crowded in the morning, depending on the day and time. I think there were a few business conferences when we travelled there, but other than that, nothing major, we had a very pleasant stay.

Perfectly located, the hotel is central and very well served by public transportation. If you are travelling with kids, there is a beautiful playground just a few steps away, close to the Ministerium for environment and climate. My daughter loved it, it was an excellent way to start or end the day :-) The lobby is lovely, nice furniture, comfortable chairs and nice atmosphere. Perfect place for a weekend in Berlin.

More hangers might have been useful, especially for 2 people. Not a lot to add here, it suited my needs for my short trip to Berlin.

I had a room on the inner courtyard, after reading reviews that said it was quieter, and it worked out fine. Breakfast is good - a big selection of items; cooked breakfast, cereals, bread, cheeses, cold meats, fruit, yogurt, pastries, coffee, fruit juice to choose from. The breakfast area, which is a bar in the evening, is comfy and easy to navigate for breakfast self-service. The room is a good size and I found storage to be ample. The shower was good - decent pressure and I liked the eucalyptus and mint shower gel and shampoo. Bed comfy, and I wasn't disturbed by noise. The location is really good, imo. I like to be near the river, can walk to the Tiergarten without too much effort, or the other way towards museum island. The U-bahn and metro are both a couple of minutes walk, and plenty of restaurants nearby too. I liked the 12pm checkout - plenty of time to sort a suitcase, and of course they have a luggage room if you need to store things until later than that.

The only thing I didn’t like was that the street was noisy so I had to close the window for the night, but even then I heard the cars from the street. And I could not make the room dark enough for the night.

We explicitly booked a queen size bed, but got two single beds moved side by side. There's a gap between beds, they tend to move over the time from their original position. I'm not sure how to label this makeshift queen beds, but for us it was a bit confusing. Also, I'm not a big fan of giant long pillows.

Interior was very nice and good-looking in both rooms and common places. Free soft drinks every day in mini fridge (3 lemonades and 2 bottles of water for 2 persons in our case). Great location next to subway and tram stations, 20 minutes on foot from main train station. Breakfast was tasty and pleasant

We had a premium room just because of guaranteed king-sized bed. It had one big bed but if you are tall like my husband is (190cm), the bed is too short for you.

They have the option to choose between two single beds or one double bed and there is no indication that it is not guaranteed, and we, of course, chose the double bed but got the two single beds. When I talked to the staff they said there is only tree or four of them and almost always fully booked and if you want a guaranteed double bed you should book a premium room.

There was a small but clean and functioning gym. They have parking that you pay 28 euros per day but you can charge your car for free in the parking.

There was an inner door in the room connecting to the adjacent hotel room. Unfortunately, it was without any soundproofing and any mumbling/TV watching or neighbors talking could be vividly heard in our room, depriving of sleep and relaxation. Never again, unless they have rooms without such doors.

The pillows were hard. We requested soft pillows but when they arrived they were in two parts and not comfortable. We also didn’t have a kettle but on request the pillows and kettle arrived very quickly.

The only change I would like to suggest is that the hotel accommodates requests for early breakfast. We had to leave the hotel around 6 am to catch our flight, but breakfast service began at 7 am. We had requested a small breakfast two days prior before our departure, but unfortunately, it was not possible. The breakfast was ready downstairs, but the staff did not let us have it, even though we had it included, due to that it started only after 7. Its a small thing, but I hope the hotel can fix this issue in the future. Apart from this, everything else was great during our stay.

The staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast was great, the room was clean, and the location was convenient, close to attractions in Berlin. I would definitely stay again.

There wasn't a kettle in the room- but you can request this (British people problems). Had to always wait for the lift even though only on 1st floor because stairs only seemed to go to the fire exit out front.
