The room was pretty clean. It was close to the 15 bus, which was convenient. There were private shower rooms (shower and toilet), which I found really nice. There are restaurants nearby for dining out. For me it wasn’t that loud, there was free tea and coffee.

However, if you, like me, are a morning person who likes to go sightseeing during the day and have a nice rest, I do not recommend it. The rooms are a little bit hot and the windows face the street, so when you open them to get some air over night, it is too noisy, many people drinking and talking really loud outside.

It is a place near good restaurants, a supermarket, and a train station. If you want to go sightseeing, it is possible to go on foot and I recommend that because you can get to know the small business around town and get into Hamburg life. Also, it is not difficult to get into the nightlife because there are many bars around. If you want to get to know the nightlife of Hamburg, this is the perfect place. The staff was also very polite and it was pretty clean, there is a kitchen that you can use.

The staff was extremely nice and the rooms were very well-kept and over all it felt very safe to be in the women’s section of the building! Contrary to other experiences this place was incredible. Also wasn’t expecting Billie Eilish on the wall as we entered haha

The sound of door was quite annoying. When someone came back pretty late like 3am, I was woken by the smashed sound. The shower room is not easy to use.

I can cook here! And there is a comfortable public area.

The reception hours are terrible for people who are not so flexible The rooms are, honestrly, ugly. The whole place could use a bit of investment on comfort. I am used to hostels and have no issues with the concept but this one could really have spent a little more on the comfort of the guests, specially if you are not on the floor with the reception.

Single bed to find in dorm, large corridors and space in lounge. Nice located, close to a restaurant and discounter, directly in front of a bus station.

everybody was really nice and there was enough space to chill in the common area. The FLINTA* floor was also pretty comfortable. And even though I am a light sleeper and the hostel is placed near a busy street, plus since it is a hostel,it means that people may come and go the whole time, with earplugs (which you can also get at the hostel) and a sleep mask, I was not once disturbed during the night <3 And the location is pretty good too.

Nice, comfortable, clean hostel to stay. The women have a separated floor, which I found very convenient. The showers are really good, clean, spacious and with hot water!

The place is well located near public transport options like metro or bus. Big common area, coffee available in the morning.

The location is good, just a few minutes from the metro station, but if you like walking, you can go to many touristic places on foot. Rewe and Lidl are also very near. The room and other facilities are clean and organized. Bring your towel and a big lock (mine was a bit small, and I struggled to close the locker). The staff wasn't friendly/smiley but was helpful. I felt safe as a solo travel woman. Not the most comfortable hostel I've ever stayed, but a good option for a short stay.

The dormitory was way better than I expected. I took a bed in a 4-bed dormitory. Good location in terms of transportation facilities, sufficient facilities etc. Felt really safe Good and friendly staff.

Could have organised some events or given a few additional recommendations as things to do in Hamburg. Probably need to replace the pillows!

Stayed upstairs on the girls floor. Would highly recommend it as it appears a lot more spacious and modern than downstairs. Room was big, with large windows. Upstairs was hot as I was there in June but being able to leave the windows open at night was a plus. Met some great people and a good place for solo travellers. Free coffee in the mornings was great. Perfect location!

The pillows are tiny. Not really a problem for me, but I could see that being an issue for some. It would be nice if the lockers were fixed to the floor so they wouldn't rattle so much when being opened.

Great neighborhood and easy to get to by train from the main station. High ceilings and an airy room made for a comfortable stay.

Room was very cold at nights.

Room was big enough. There was enough air in the room. It was clean. Sheets were clean. Hot water was always available. I had locked iron cabinet. Free breakfast was good. Kitchen and shared rest room was clean and comfortable.

Only single issue I had was the shower. Great for saving water but I was traveling about 20 hours and all I wanted was to take a refreshing hot shower but the showers are tap and water cuts off seconds after so you have to keep tapping it for water to stay on. Again Great for saving water but bad if you want to enjoy a nice hot shower.

Hostel was great. Great location for bars and train station is about a 5-10 minute walk away. Restaurants also super close by. Reeperbahn only a 20 minute walk away which matters when trains stop going around 1230am.
