There is no sound insulation, you can hear everything from the corridor and rooms. Not very comfortable: 4th floor with no elevator, room located at the end of the corridor far from the kitchen and bathroom.

The place was clean and had free wifi. The staff was quite helpful during checkin and checkout, too. The hostel is also located rather close to the scientific facilities of Jena, such as the Fraunhofer IOF. The price was very affordable.

The bathroom are so far from our room. :( The toilet got no tissue at night. The location is a little bit far from the bus station. Don’t bring to much luggage if you come with no car. Because you have to hike uphill. :)

The room are very big! The accommodation is very clean. The staff are also very friendly. For the late check out we can still get our key :) without any further charge.

In my both reservations there, the key code was not the same as the one mentioned in the confirmation. it was registered with the name of my company and they never sent me the right code. luckily, there was a guy from the staff who helped me finding the right code to get my room keys otherwise, i would spent the whole night outside especially that i arrived at 22:00.

Long walk from bus stop. Cockroach chilling on bathroom sink. Showers were not cleaned regularly, something that looked like blood was on the shower floor and not cleaned during my stay there. They do not clean regularly between the beds and the wall. Breakfast was way too expensive 8€! Not much privacy in the showers.

Had a nice room to myself. Great view of the surrounding countryside. Staff were very nice. Nice big room.

Lack of sockets. You don't have any of them by the bed. Blankets could be just 20 cm wider and longer and it would be fine, otherwise you struggle to sleep, if you're 187 cm tall like me and over.

Friendly and helpful receptionist. Quiet atmosphere as well as the location. Big parking lot.

Good for short stay primarily in the case of a business trip. The room was clean. There was enough place for parking in front of the Gästehouse.

Location is beautiful up the hill, but therefore quite a hike from busstop with suitcases. No elevator. Buy value money!

No facilities in the room. Need to go to common facilities quite a far on the floor. The room itself looks like soviet era common room for 4 students and furnished in that 40 years old style without anything except beds, table, chair and closet. Noisy neighbors to be expected.

This is the cheapest offer in the area.

The stay was nice. People can gather in groups and talk around in the common place. There was a common room with TT and fussball table. Also, the view from the window was amazing.

The bathroom was stinky and some of the showers were broken. Is not so close to the city center (half hour walk, mostly uphill) and there is no public transport to the place. If you are carrying a lot of luggage you should go by taxi.

The room was comfy, nice view through the window. There's a nice chill area. I didn't use the dinning area and kitchen but there is one and you could use a microwave or heat water for a tee. Breakfast was also nice.
