How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There is no equipment for bathroom such as shampoo and even hairdryer. They say free luggage storage but you need to have your own lock. Otherwise you must rent it per 1€. Without lock, I would not leave my luggage to that area. There is no towel, you should rent it, 2€ per day. There was a young boy staff with tattoo, he is pretty rude.
Location is perfect but at night not safe enough. People were fighting at night on the streets. Ambiance looks nice to attract young people. Room and bathroom were clean enough.

For some reason, there were constant troubles with the room card, plus the toilets at the lobby / bar weren't working the whole time we stayed there. Most of the staff isn't very nice.
The location right by the main station is great, plus they have 24 hours reception. The hostel is very modern and cool looking. Breakfast was for eight euro, it was good.

- Some staff seemed rather indifferent for example the guy didn’t inform me properly about the check out time (weekend 11 o‘clock and week 10 o‘clock) - The bunk beeds move very easily
- Perfect if you need to catch a train the next day - The breakfast is quite good (8€: bread rolls, cereals, scrambled eggs, juice, tea, coffee etc) - The room and bathroom of the female room was very clean

The pillows could be bigger. It would be better to make some people from same nationalities to live in same room. Unfortunately, in my room some people were snoring and talking while they are sleeping.
Location was perfect, room was quite reasonable for 8 people. Bed was quite comfortable, just could be better pillows. besides that, staff was quite hospitable. Good breakfast service for reasonable price

Checked in spontaneously. Reception is occupied 24/7. one can pay cash. Very comfortable. Directly located at the south of munich Bahnhof. Definitely the best price at the moment

Sounds from the next room were clearly heard after 10 pm so it wasn’t that good soundproofing in between rooms. Because of the late check in there was a guest entering our room in the middle of the night so it was hard to sleep when this person messed around in the room.
Clean and comfortable! Lockers to store luggage before check in and after check out.

They have lockers but the locker system doesnt work with Cable type locks (bring a normal lock if you dont want to rent one) the bunk beds are small and very low, you can't even sit on your bed, because the top bed hits your head and I'm not even a tall person, there is no privacy between the beds either. it would be nice to have some kind of light so as not to disturb the others if you arrive too late. but for sleeping they are comfortable and clean. I got a cheap room so guess i can't complain much.
great location, near the hauptbahnof, walking distance of parks and restaurants. bathrooms clean and inside the room, not noisy.
