The property is located high up in mountain area with good view over surrounding area and just outside Monshau which is a beautiful little German town with lots of charm.

A bit of a steep walk from the main city

Really easy check-in process and clean and comfortable room (at a great price). Yummy free coffee :) The location is a little bit away from the city but really enjoyed sitting outside in the garden and enjoying nature. Hosts also suggested a nice walking trail!

I'm not a fan of polyester sheets but it didn't stop me from sleeping well.

The Eifel Haus B&B is only a short distance away from the Vennbahn cycle path and an easy walk down to the beautiful village of Monschau. It was great being able to leave our bikes in a secure easy access place overnight. The room had a lovely view over the valley, comfortable beds and a great shower. Everything you need for a short visit to Monschau!

This is a great place to stay but (as they make very clear) do not expect a full hotel service - there’s no restaurant or evening food let alone room service so you have to be prepared to walk down into town for food

Great location on a hill above the town - lovely views. Family house experience - they were really friendly hosts. Car parking was easy. Breakfast was very good and very good value so I would recommend anyone booking have breakfast here. They even provided us with cold wine and beer in the evening at very reasonable cost. The town itself is about 10 minutes down the hill (allow 15-20 back up) and is beautiful nestling river in the valley with an overlooking castle and other fortifications - well worth a visit (which you’ll need to do early in evening to get an evening meal)

Sadly most of the restaurants and shops are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. (We were at the B&B on a Tuesday.)

For the price you pay you get way more then you could expect. The location is fantastic and its close to the centre of Monschau. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We did not have the breakfast service, but looking at the quality of the other things I'd say it would probably also be good. We would recommend this B&B to others.

I would suggest a bit more focus on cleanliness: the bathroom was clean, the breakfast room looked clean as well, but there was room for improvement regarding the floor and walls of the room (soil on the floor and webs on the ceiling corners). Plus, I understand that it's a family run environment, and kudos for that, but personally I don't like to see people that clean around me walking barefoot (inside and outside of the house): nothing wrong with that in general, I do the same at home, but in my opinion it doesn't give the right impression in an accomodation open to the public.

The B&B is basically above the historical Monschau, close to the town (road downward going to the city, upward going back to the house, but not that terrible). Welcoming owners and spacious room with clean bathroom and comfortable beds. The property is quite quiet, also by night. Simple, but good and effective breakfast included in the price.

Lovely family atmosphere, Jeje and Anna are very welcoming and easygoing! Upon arrival Jeje was already waiting for us. We liked the details like a chocolate on the bed for example 😊 We had a room with a beautiful view over the snowy hills!! The breakfast was good, everything that we needed for a day of exploring. You can park the car in front of the hotel and Monschau is a short walk away. Would definitely recommend!

Simple and homely accommodation on a mountain ridge with a beautiful view. Clean rooms, friendly owners, fast wifi and parking. The room was warm, the shower was good, the breakfast was ok. Walking distance from the city center and the Christmas market. The price range is very good compared to other accommodations in Monchau. Parking is a big plus because it is impossible in the old town and the parking lots around the city are full during the Christmas market.

The simple charm of this house is reflected in the way it is run. It has a family home feel about it. Tucked away above Monchau it was easy to get to, and a great place to relax after a days travelling. The rooms are a generous size and very quiet.
