The room for 4 is very very small (even for a hostel), in the morning the air was bad

I had to register for a card for around 3 eur for the hostel and they told me that after 6 use, I can stay in the same hostelbrand for free. But it was not optional. I didnt like to have a choice and instead “had to” be a part of this card. Reception is opening at 5, so you cannot go in your room until 5, but common area is also okay. Little bit far away from the train station but the view is nice.

It was nice to have a clean shower and toilet area outside, big enough to not be overwhelmed. Breakfast was good and workers were kind and helpful.

Location is a bit further out of town, not too far to walk.

Has lockers that you can put your luggage in before reception opens up in the afternoon which was helpful. Breakfast was included and you can ask if you can get dinner there which is cheap €8 for a buffet. Bathroom was in our twin room which is nice. We were pretty happy here and I love Fussen. There’s a big backyard with trees.

It was very clean. We had a room with 4 beds for our family wih a sink. The showers and toilets were down the hall. The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was included. It was only about a 12 minute drive to neuschwanstein in Schwangau.

Location, bit far from the train station. Only one staff member at check in, be prepared to wait for a significant time if there is group to check in before. Even though it was a clean facility, foul smell along the room corridor; to be fair the smell wasn't noticed anywhere else.

Decent sized private rooms in a hostel, likeable breakfast, staff attitude, having lockers that can be rented. Free drinks anytime of the day, the free card provided that grants access to free bus rides anywhere within the town.

while booking be conscious about gender of the bed you are booking due to high demand it was difficult to change upon arrival.

Warning: the Bahnhofstrasse address indicated by GMaps and Booking is NOT the actual location so make sure you have the right address if you want to avoid a nightly search...:) Also when using Booking you still need to pay a small amount extra to hostelling international on arrival.

The beds, of course, aren't the most comfortable ones, but considering it's a hostel, they are not that bad. The original price was €76 for the room, but there's a city tax and of course the Hostels International compulsory membership that rised the final price to €84. If you're going to the Neuschwanstein castle and you want to book your visit on the road 1 day before, be aware that the city tax includes a discount for the castle, maybe you can spare a couple of Euros (unlike me).

We had the private room with bathroom. There are only 2 available at the hostel. First of all, this is a hostel, and should be rated as one: everything is clean and tidy, but I would only recommend it to regular and experienced travelers who want to save money. They give you clean sheets (of course, no towels) and there's a kitchen area where you can get some water, coffee or tea anytime you want. Parking is limited, but if full, you can park outside. The hostel is close to the city center. The staff is amazing, friendly and always available for anything you need :)
