(These are really minor gripes). There was only one toilet room and one shower (for each sex) on each floor. In order to get to the male toilet from the male dorm I was assigned, I had to walk across the building and through 5-6 doors. The bedsheets are a bit tired-looking and yellowed.

The location is fantastic being right in the walled city and with a direct route to the parapet/wall walk! The buildings themselves are gorgeous and must be historical. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and standard German fare, i.e. cold items including bread rolls, cheese, deli meats, muesli, fruit, yoghurt, etc. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Overall good value for money, although the equipment is a bit outdated and some of the facilities could use a renovation. Tasty breakfast buffet with a surprisingly good variety of choices. Excellent location and helpful staff.

I arrived at night, around 9pm and no-one was there, which initially I found a bit daunting, as I was staying in another building & had sone difficulty figuring out how to open the door.

The staff was super helpful. Breakfast is simple but with some variety. Super good value for money. You can find lockers at the basement of the building even if you arrive earlier than check in.

Comfortable rooms in a great location! We loved the breakfast, the privacy of our rooms with their own bathrooms. The breakfast room also has board games available to play. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. The historic building and surroundings were charming, and we could walk out the front door and walk a few minutes to the main attractions, or only moments to the city walls. We liked it so much, we came and stayed at the same place 10 years later.

The beds were normal bunkbeds, the sheets were clean, and the staff was very friendly. The best part was the location, it is right inside the old city walls and a 5 minute walk to the center.

The shower pressure was too good! It really hit my face with such force, I had swollen eye area for a while. But it's still better to have good water pressure than weak water pressure.

I liked that it is near to the Christmas Market and main street. And the breakfast buffet is good: fresh fruits, fresh veggies, many bread options, cereal options, honey, milk, jam options, chocolate spread, desserts, many drink options, ham options, etc.

There was only one power outlet in the entire room. I was in a 8 bed share dorm, luckily there were only two others but we had to take turns to charge our phone. There was also no wifi at all in any parts of the building. You had to get linen from the basement in a different building so would be kinda spooky if arriving alone at night.

It will be hard for those who are carrying heavy luggage as there is no elevator.

The location is just really close to the main attraction. 17 mins walk from the train station. Kitchen staffs were helpful. Good breakfast. Good value of money.

Difficult to find, especially at night. Poorly lit outside which was very unnerving as a female traveler. Would have been fine if I had arrived earlier, but late at night, it was scary. Google maps wasn't helpful in determining where to enter the city and to park.

Amazing location, history to the buildings. Kind of fit the medieval vibe.Very accommodating staff. Delicious breakfast spread. Nice to be able to stay in a room together as a family.

About 30min walk from railwaystation, a lot of selfservice. Walk from mainbuilding to second building could be marked somehow, it's not easy to find it in darkness, not nice to try to find it alone in the dark...

Came late, staff left me keycard and instructions. Supernice that breakfast belongs to price! I REALLY appreciate that coffee and tea are organic!
