How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

On Sunday the bar was closed all day.
Location of hotel. Staff very helpful. Room lovely junior suite with balcony overlooking the river.

The rooms are small and and bare of furnishings. The bed mattresses are on the floor or on a slight riser with very little room. Getting out of bed is difficult.. Not enough electrical outlets. The USB charging sockets did not work.
The location is excellent with very convenient parking. The public areas and first impression is outstanding. Everything is fresh and spotless clean. The spa and sauna are spacious and clean. Bathroom was new, fresh and clean.

The pool is on the cold side. The people i. The spa were talking and there was even a kid screaming in the pool.
I liked the design of the hotel and rhe rooms. Very comfortable beds.

One evening my husband had an interaction with 2 staff at front counter that was not professional but all other employees we interacted with during our stay were exceptional.
Location is by far best selling point of this property. There is also a nice cafe in the hotel lobby and some very good eateries w/i a block. The open market is 1 block away and is fantastic for quick food and souvenirs. Fun to just walk through too. Hotel is comfortable and clean but not spectacular.

I don't like idea of surcharges on breakfast - either you have paid for one already or not. In this case, we had breakfast in the rate, yet upon arrival on breakfast we found that hot food is with extra charge. I understand when you charge separately for champagne, but just for regular breakfast dishes?
Great location, room design (cozy and modern), integration with the restaurant (albeit there is crazy much different places around). All looks of high quality. We arrived at 1pm and they already had a room for us - lovely!

Hard to say, the only thing I still do not like is the mixed naked sauna as first and only choice

We had one night reserved already. We added a night and when we did, that same room was something like 2x the cost as I originally paid.
This was a very nice room with a great view of the market.

Loved this modern hotel right in the midst of the main christmas market. Literally steps away if you are looking for location. We booked into a corner suite and it was amazing. Huge room with a small kitchenette, dining table, couch and chairs. We especially like that the bedroom was separate from these areas. The bathroom was also very large with a spacious vanity and shower. The suite is all windows and even has a small balcony overlooking the water and Christmas lights. Highly recommend this hotel for it's facilities, location and helpful staff. It's a bit pricey but worth it.

Maybe more equipments in the gym and if the water can be warmer.
I loved the swimming pool and the gym. The rooms are neat and clean, high ceiling as well. Staffs are very nice, breakfast is excellent.

Our room was over the bar and at 10 pm on Friday night music started up. They did kindly turn it down a bit.
The staff went above and beyond when I needed some medical care. I can’t thank them enough.

Location was in the heart of the Old City. Wonderful restaurants nearby and lots of shopping. Beautiful architecture and river scenery. The breakfast was delicious. Very comfortable and cosy atmosphere.
