How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Pricing was steep but probably due to the trade show that was in town - so there was likely limited availability.
The location is fantastic - city center bustling with restaurants and cafes. 3 minute walk from Hannover Hbf. When my connector flight was cancelled the next day, I just picked up a train to Frankfurt at the same station I took from the airport.

I was happy with everything.
Great location on a quiet street just a block from the train station with easy access to trams/bus service and lots of shopping on the streets adjacent to the hotel. The room was very nice, quiet, clean & comfortable and the shower was exquisite! The bathroom radio was also a very nice touch. There was lots of closet space to hang my clothes and store my luggage. Excellent breakfast and room service. I would definitely stay here again and consider another stop-over in Hannover now that I know about the convenience of this hotel.

for a group of 3, unfortunately they do not offer extra beds. We therefore booked a double room and a single room. and the single room I got, room 114, was really really old and antique furniture you would have thought it was a highway budget hotel room. plus it had a funny smell like smoke and musty. parking is on the higher cost too.
the Hotel is really nice and the location is perfect. the breakfast is just enough although for the price not really comprehendible.

Simply the best hotel Hannover has to offer. Cozy rooms, exceptional service, absolutely central location, great breakfast buffet etc. Also, if you book early, very reasonable priced.

Beds could have had proper king size duvets and also had a rubberised mattress cover under the sheets that made it very warm at night. But both things are generally a thing that most hotels in Germany seem to do / struggle with.
Great location, nicely maintained rooms, breakfast quality was good, selection could have been a bit wider. Very good service and staff

Everything is perfect.
This hotel is absolutely amazing! Everything is perfect, beautifully decorated, extremely clean, very professional staff, best breakfast in the world, centrally placed. This I was my fifth time I stay at the Louisenhof, and every time has been a very positive experience. 👍👍👍

The room curtains did not allow for maximum darkness. The duvet could have been larger and more comfortable. The safe also stopped functioning. Staff was able to repair it quickly though.
Amenities - including gym and sauna. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Dinning experience was superb.

This hotel should not have been rated as 5*! Arrived in the reception to check in had to carry the bags up to the room myself. I have asked the staff if the trains were on strike to which they said walk over to the train station and ask yourself??? The pillows were really uncomfortable. Breakfast was OK. I would rather stay at cheaper chain hotel and save £200. I honestly don't think I have stayed anywhere 5* as bad as this.
