The fact that the receptionist initially wanted me to park my bicycle outside. And when he allowed me to park it inside, he did not tell that I could not get it outside before anyone of the staff was present.

There isnt a kettle to boil water in the room which I believe is a must. I'd like to have a tea or coffee in the room after a long day of walking.

Location is great, just about 15-20 mins walk away from the cathedral a.k.a Kölner Dom and busy streets nearby. There are couple of supermarkets around, also restaurants. All of the personnel was super nice, they were ok with me leaving my bags after my check out and come back to pick up just before my flight. Also very kind to give me detailed info about transportation.

I left my iPad on a shelf in the wardrobe whilst we were out. When I came back the case was separated into two halves. I don’t know why that should have happened.

The room was perfectly acceptable thank you. The furniture looked relatively new. There were places where the skirting and around the doorframe looked a bit unfinished.

I would have liked to have a bathroom on the same floor. Not a safe neighbourhood, and I could hear people talking from next door.

It was okay. No bathroom on the same floor I slept, not a nice neighbourhood. It did not feel as a safe place whatsoever... I could hear people talking every night next door. I would not go back again but workers were nice.

You could hear everyone coming up and down the stairs. And if your neighbor decides to watch TV then you have to listen to the TV show as well. For a shared bathroom it was not the worst. But the shower stall was small and the doors did not seal properly so each time I showered Ieft water on the bathroom floor. The bathroom was also freezing as it had no heating. So taking a shower was not an enjoyable experience for me so I am glad it was only 2 nights I stayed. Also whole the room was overall pretty clean, there was a lot of dust behind the bed headboard, between the bed and the heater. I know this because I had to dry a pair of tights so hung them on the heater only to find them covered in dust at the bottom. I had read the reviews so I can't say I was surprised by anything I encountered

Allowed to leave luggage (although it's just in the corner of the amin check in room). The room was well heated and heating was adjustable. The room was generally clean and I was pleasantly surprised after the first night my room was tidied (only stayed 2 nights). I knew I had booked a simple accommodation so did not expect 5 star but it is a bit pricey for what you get. It's not in old Town but very walkable to Old Town and train station if you don't have a lot of luggage.

Misleading photos (there’s no kitchen in fact) and one of the bathrooms constantly smelled like vinegar. Also, after we checked in, we noticed there was a condom hanging from the ceiling, which they didnt’t notice.

The room we were in was at the top of the building, therefore, it was very hot so we needed to keep the windows open at night. So it was hard to be able to sleep because the street is too noisy. A good idea would be to have a fan available in the room so the need for the open windows could be replaced.
