Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe automated check-in system is fancy but the keycard didn't activate so we had to call them. They fixed it but not the best first impression.
We used this as a base to hike through Schonbuch national park. It's right on the southern edge of the forest, just 5 mins to get into nature. The town of Tubingen and the train station is a bus ride away. Supermarkets 10 min walk. Self-service laundry in the basement (via another app) and amenities for self-catering.

Very clean and comfortable it was self check in and out but fairly easy to sort location was a half hour walk down hill into centre strenuous coming back up if your not fit but taxis available

GermanyI would have enoyed a coffee in the room or in the hotel somewhere. Maybe even an instant one. But again it was a good reason to take a nice short walk aoutside to a good Bakery nearby. Can it be that the innovative atmosphere around you brings out a positive attitude?
I appreciate the hotel philosophy very much and their attitude towards innovative ideas in a sector, in which shortage of skilled workers is a problem. Besides, their attention to the needs of a specific category of travellers, who wants to feel home and find a peaceful and comfy place at the end of the day is also very clear. Digitalisation and sustainable choices are the answer to both challenges: right so and well realised. Additionally, you always feel the security that somebody is at the end of the line to answer your calls, in case you need an extra help. Which mostly is not the case, as you find very funny and carefully formulated messages with instructions anywhere you need them and every step is kept as easy as it gets. We enjoyed our stay very much and had a very restorative night sleep. It was a discovery trip in our own trip. :-)

Nice and quiet location, close to the Tübingen Technologiepark, bus stop, and bakery. Some snacks and drinks were available to buy at in the hotel. We arrived very late at night, and had some issue with the self check in. The customer service was available via phone and we immediately got support (in English).

As someone that doesn't have an international number, it was very difficult and expensive to get in touch with customer service, as the front of the hotel was locked and no one is there to help check you in. It was a miracle I was even able to get into the hotel. I only managed because some guests happened to come by after I had been standing outside on a 20min call with customer service.

Very clean and minimalist style. Check in is amazing. Especially when you do the online check in beforehand. It’s possible to open your hotel room door with your mobile phone over a browser and the main entrance with a pin.
