How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very good location within walking distance to Bonn Hbf, overlooking the Rhein, with very spacious rooms and welcoming staff paired with aesthetically pleasing decór.

We did not try the breakfast in the hotel; we normally just have "coffee and croissant"- which we tried (and enjoyed) en ville.
Everything went smoothly, everyone was correct yet pleasantly so.

The hotel is a little oldfashioned, I would have liked an elevator to the parking, and I would have liked an electric vehicle charging point.
Good comfort, good breakfast, friendly personnel. View on the Rhine river from the hotel and the restaurant.

The hotel didn’t say whether breakfast was included or not upon checkin, nor the cost, rather simply said breakfast was in the lower ground. Went to breakfast and nobody was there to check us in or take a room number. Upon check out we learned that breakfast was an extra €25 per person…. All for a coffee and some powder eggs. Then the staff didn’t even apologize for the confusion or lack of communication on their part. Really irked me.

The hotel is a bit dated and run-down, but that is reflected in the reasonable price. The elevator is very strange. Parking is expensive and it is difficult to park larger vehicles.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent customer service. The room was comfortable and the location was excellent. Beautiful views. Breakfast was a bit expensive, but a deluxe buffet.

My room did not have a kettle or a coffee machine. Had to wait for restaurant hours to have coffee etc. And the restaurant shuts on Tuesdays after breakfast, so had to go out every time for coffee and meals.
The location is fantastic. The staff very friendly. The restaurant good but a tad on the expensive side.

Nothing really to complain, just remarks. You better use the "not disturb" sign, otherwise the staff is ready to enter for cleaning at 8.30 a.m. The garage is a bit narrow and somethimes a challenge to cope properly. No garage lift, if you have to "dive" into the third underground level, but this is stated in advance. Extra parking charge should also be noted, even if quite standard for German reality. The hotel restaurant is limited on space (= likely to be full) and somewhat overrated for its rather not too impressive Italian menu.
Perfect location right on the Rhein bank and very close to the city center. Great terraces overlooking the river, just made to have a coffee in the morning or a glass of white wine in the evening. Clean and comfortable rooms with a well functioning AC (at least where available - we had it), which is quite likely to be needed in summer days. Having the underground garage of the hotel is also a big advantage, although you cannot reserve a place and there is always a bit of a thrill whether you will be lucky enough (fortunately we were).
