Location was fantastic, just off Schildergasse, one of the main shopping streets in the city and a stones throw from Neumarkt, which is a main stop for all public transport. Easy 10 min walk to the cathedral and main station. Apartment was very clean and well equipped. Owner was in regular contact with clear instructions on where to collect the keys, which was an easy process. We would definitely book again on our next visit to Koln.

It was pretty hot outside (it's summer in Germany too ....) and due to the fact there are no window shutters on the living room, the appart was hot too (curtains are not enough). We had to open the windows of the bedroom at night to cool the flat down, but there are huge and noisy fans, so the nights were not that quiet.

The flat is right in the center of Cologne, easy to access by car, with a parking right in front of the flat. An elevator leads you to the 3rd floor. We didn't cook, we took breakfast in a shop next to the flat, and all meals outside.

Also in the apartment in the bedroom there was always an unpleasant smell of fried food. On the ground floor is the Burger King establishment, perhaps the hood is set up with problems and the smell goes into the apartment.

The location of the apartment is great, in the heart of Cologne, but late at night it was noisy.

The contact with the owner of the appartment was very bad and she is also not a very nice person... we had a emergency (lost key) can't contact the owner won't anwser her phone, so we had to book a expensive motel. After much waiting she messaged us, not to check in on how we were doing after being locked out the entire night no... she wasn't very respectfull we had to pay a 60 euro fine for the key, and had to grab a 2 hour bus ride to pick up the keys at HER APARTMENT. I have had mutiple cheap motel owners who take better care of there customers then this establishment.

The Location was very good right in the middle of cologne. And it's a nice apartment.

Smart tv would be great

The location was unbeatable. During the day it is noisy due to its central location, but after closing time it is very quiet. In the neighborhood are a good breakfast shop and a very good Asian restaurant. The owner was very friendly and was available and willing to help at any time. The WiFi was good and the flat very clean. In the bedroom are shutters and in the livingroom are curtains for good sleeping. Nice flat for short trips for shopping:)

Upon arrival, we were asked to pick up the keys from a casino about 400m from the flat. It felt sketchy. The flat had "free toiletries" listed in the information section. However, upon sending the host a message, we were told that toiletries meant toilet paper. We needed to go out and buy soap, shampoo, and conditioner. We were also asked to wash dishes using the dishwasher, but there was no detergent in the flat for this. Several lights didn't work in the flat either. The place could use some maintenance.

The flat is in a great location in the heart of Koln's shopping area. There's a parking garage right across the street (but it is closed on Sundays). There are lots of great restaurants and shops within a 15 min walk. Also nearby is the beautiful cathedral. Curtains have been added in the main room, so the room was dark enough for my kids to sleep.

Nothing worth mentioning, really.

Actually, we were there for both work and leisure. We traveled with our 11 months old baby and the main reason for chosing the appartment was the location. And although during weekends, it tends to get loud, on the other days, the noise was manageable. It is literally on the main shopping street, walking distance to the Dome and the river. The appartment itself is very good value for money, compared to other options available in the area. There is a parking space across the pedestrian area and we could see the car from the living room. During the afternoon, the living room gets a little hot (courtains would be great), but we used the bedroom and pretty much stayed in the living room in the morning mostly. We had everything we needed, from towels, to a good size closet, sofa, well equipped kitchen (although we only used the fridge). The fact that it has two separate rooms was also a big plus for us. Downstairs, there is an excellent asian restaurant and 2 min walk, there are grocery stores.

Ran out of soap and toilet paper. The couch bed is unusable because the living room curtains are sheer. It would be so easy for the host to get room darkening curtains. As is, it’s too bright to sleep. At full night, the Burger King sign lights up the room. The bedroom is dark but do not bother to stay with more than two people or the sleeping situation is miserable.

Good location. Close to groceries and shops. not far from the cathedral. Right by a metro stop.
