How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location is a bit of a distance from the center but if you have a car you’re good. Parking is provided on site for 7 euros per day.
Great staff, the rooms were spacious and air conditioned and the breakfast was great, the staff were helpful and friendly. Parking is provided on site for 7 euros per day.

Everything was great!
We had the best experience thanks to the kindness of the staff, starting from the owners. The Breakfast was huge, including all the best food and drinks. The room was big and comfortable, everything was clean and new.

On check in there was an instant unexpected request for additional money on top of the premium fee already paid in full to stay during oktoberfest. Whilst not super high it wasn't the best welcome after such a long journey!

This hotel experience was incredible! Every single person we encountered here went above and beyond for us. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast was truly delicious. It was very close to a subway for easy access to the city.

Though the hotel was located in a very quiet residential area, I wish it was more easily accessible though public transport.
The front desk staff were very friendly, one gentleman (Sammy?) was exceptional. He went out of his way to help us. The suite appeared recently renovated, was very clean and provided almost everything we needed. The highlight of the stay was the sumptuous breakfast that was on par with any star-rated hotel.

The location was disappointing, it was a semi-commercial area and not well connected - especially if you are carrying bags
Room was exceptional - size, cleanliness, everything. Rooms have a/c which is a big plus. Breakfast was excellent and very creatively arranged.

Only downfall honestly was the pillows. Quite flat and hard. Everything else was exceptional. Hard to comment on value for money as it was Oktoberfest at the time.

Everything went well and the hotel was nicely decorated and quiet. Great staff and owner. The breakfast was great and changed daily. Great location to the trains. It is located in a more industrial area so you aren’t staying there for the view.

We weren’t driving so had to walk to the station and restaurants etc which was fine for us but for others without a car it may be a little far. However we really liked being in a suburban area
We really liked staying here. We were a party of three and room was perfect in that it had two separate sleeping areas.

The only thing I didn't like was the bed was too hard for my personal preference. Not a criticism on the hotel just my preference

My stay at the hotel was unique. The place was clean and quiet, and the room lighting was beautiful and very dim, giving it a very romantic feel. All hotel and restaurant staff are smiling and serve everyone without hesitation. The breakfast is very delicious and overlooks a very beautiful view. I did not regret my stay in this hotel and I will do it again

We came in this hotel for the sixth time. This proves that we like it very much. The suite is really big, with all you need for a pleasant stay. The personal is more than nice, always willing to help. And the breakfast is delicious, with a lot of options for all tastes. We will always come back here with pleasure.
