Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Hong KongThe shower water drained very slowly. Decor was dated. The water temperature in the shower was erratic- sometimes it was fine, sometimes it was either really hot or really cold.
Beautiful views from hotel window, great location close to Dom, HBF station and Christmas markets. Staff let us check in way after official check in time ended as we had a flight delay. They also provided us with a kettle when we requested one for hot water. Room was spacious. Hotel had lift so we didn’t have to carry bags up to 4th floor. Bed was very comfortable.

The beds were awful, too soft and cranky, and the whole hotel was horrible, full of carpet everywhere, stained for years. They didnt changed the sheets, only made the beds again, and they left opened the Windows so when we returned back at night the room was cold. But the location was perfect, near at the catedral and with a lot nearby. The room has good size and was cleanest than the rest of the hotel at least.

United KingdomAs another reviewer said, who may have had the same single room as me, the room could get very stuffy unless the window was open and as it was just above the restaurant, with the window open, it could be quite noisy until late at night. However, it is one of the old , original buildings which is part of the charm so it's understandable that it may be very difficult to install air conditioning. It certainly wouldn't stop me staying there again given the positives, but If I did, I think I would book a double room with single occupancy which might make it feel a bit more airy.
The hotel has a great location, close to the Alt Market, the Station, Dom and Rhine. There are great restaurants and pubs (BrauHaus) in the area but if you don't want to go too far in the evening, the hotel's own restaurant is very good too. The bed was comfortable although I would have preferred a firmer mattress. All in all though, the price per night was very competitive especially given the location.
