Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room rates and food were a bit high. The Spa, however, was very fairly priced.
The Spa was awesome, the staff was very friendly, the rooms have a beautiful style and the restaurant is great.

Great location and beautiful building. Friendly staff. Good size of the room and beautiful view on the garden. We were the only guests and breakfast was still served fully; we felt like the king and queen!

Nothing to complain.
Everything; it’s a wonderful place ,the location ,absolutely stunning . The room was extremely clean,beautiful comfortable,without noise.It’s exactly like the pictures that we saw here ;no lies. Covid protection and the right policy against it. Employees are extremely polite , gentle and helpful. The restaurant has an amazing atmosphere,delicious menu; competent chef( I recommend the Argentinian steak)and the waiters were really sweet and polite answering in English ; I am a Brazilian and my fiancé German. Congratulations to all! I am sure about to come back again in spring and we are thinking about getting married there😉

We arrived 50 minutes before 3pm and it was not possible to get the room even a minute earlier. The person in the check in area did not even ask if the room was really to be used. She only had for us a definitive 'No' for answer. She also not offered any possibility where to spend the waiting time. This is highly important since the Hotel is located in an industrial area, where there is not even a coffee close the hotel, a road for a walk, or a town that can be visit while you are waiting; there is nothing. The check-in was everything but welcoming, it gave us the feeling that we were wrong there. At 3:00pm, the person in the reception gave us the keys without any explanation on the amenities, where the Spa was or the schedule of the restaurant. Given that there was not personal working in the Spa area, this would be very helpful. She limited to give us the Keys and the room location. Moreover, I had asked in at least two emails for a bottle of wine to be waiting for us in the room. There was not wine waiting and not a register of my request, which was annoying given that they even sent me by email the wine menu from which I selected one. Based only on the start of the experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Additionally, the rooms are not well isolated. The noises in the floor can be clearly hear and make difficult to sleep. Moreover, one of the two windows had the hinges broken, which makes it virtually impossible to close it once you opened.
The Spa area is beautiful. It is well decorated, in a way that create a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The room was very comfortable with a romantic and classic decoration. The restaurant has a high quality standard. The hotel and the restaurant buildings also allow a very romantic atmosphere.

We could hear the motorway and passing trains in the night.
The hotel is beautiful and the staff very accommodating. We had a very good dinner and excellent service.
