How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The rooms were not well sound-isolated and therefore very noisy in the morning due to people inside the hotel (customers or cleaning services). The shower gel was not really suited for hair washing.
The personal was very nice, the rooms clean and the bed comfortable. It was also quite practical to be able to park the car in a protected parking for a cheap price.

the rooms are really small - there is really no place to put suitcases in a triple room. the bathroom is also small. and already during my stay in Munich, the room was relatively hot. There is no air conditioning option.
the hotel is in a great location if you want to use the central station or bus station for your trip. By walking for 15-20 minutes, you will already be in the center. very close is the shopping center, good pubs where you can have a meal. excellent breakfast for the price

The only thing I would have preferred in advance is knowing about the malfunctioning lift. If I had still been as poorly as recently, unable to walk upstairs, it would not have helped to find out upon arrival, that the lift wasn't working, then having to find a new hotel, etc.
Very friendly, offered breakfast because the lift didn't work, liked the small details like differently designed room signs, it was great value for money. Staff were very friendly, very accommodating, room was pleasant and clean and comfy.

I have at other hotels experienced worse attitude from the staff in the reception and breakfast area but also better.
Good location with walking distance from S-bahn Hackerbrucke. It was clean and a good choice to stay for one nigt.

Maintenance should be better. The bathroom’s light switch was about to pop out, and the ventilation grill in the bathroom was full of lint.

Walls are a little bit thin and noises are a little bit disturbing, but nothing extremely.
The best, best location! Nice neighbourhood, close to the metro and bus station and because of that - close to the city centre. Good variety of shops if you need something.

I booked a double bed and got two singles joined, as usual moved one out and slept in the single bed which i dont prefer. But this is minor.
24 hrs checkin, nice friendly staff , value for money. Good breakfast if booked for free

For the price and the zone, I think it was totally worth it, and the breakfast is super nice with several options.

There was construction along the street, so the water was shut off on the 1st day in the afternoon. Also the elevator was out of service, but they compensated this inconvenience by providing free breakfast.
I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room. The room was really comfortable, with 2 single beds, a small sofa, and a super well kept washroom. It wasn't noisy at all at night. As for location, it's close to Munich's central train station (by tram like 10mins). There's also a mall nearby where you can find restaurants, shops, pharmacy, and supermarket. As for the area, there's also plenty of eating options. Also, I'm grateful for the early check-in and storage accommodation. Lastly, staff was super friendly.

The bed was supposed to be double but at the end we had 2 single bed put together, not that comfortable
