Spacious apartment, in the heart of the forest/heath (quiet & fresh air, right next to a hiking trail), friendly staff, friendly cute dog, ample delicious breakfast. We had a lovely stay.

No curtaints or other fixtures on the windows to stop the light comin in during the summer season. Also fly screens on the windows to air the rooms without the bugs coming in would be really helpful

The location was nice, but we nearly drove past it. Also if You wanted to walk the dog you couldnt do a calculated route of less than an hour. The pillows are also very thin

Nice big space, i liked that the door is actually a window, so you could put the upper side open while the dog couldnt leave. It was also nice and cool in the middle of summer. Great bathroom/living room/bed. Great breakfast with a great host (very happy dog)

The mobile connection was bad.

They were very welcoming. The restaurant was surprisingly good and If you had small kids there was also a small playground. The walking paths started directly from the hotel.

The staff were super friendly and they were awesome with our lab. The location was great, we were in the middle of Lüneburg Heide. Once the car was parked, it's where it stayed until we left. All our hikes started right from the place, after breakfast that is. The cool part was we could get a warm meal in the evenings when we came back from our hikes. Because it was out in the boonies, it was very peaceful at night. If we had better weather, we could imagine how awesome the stargazing would have been. We want to come back again.

There is not much to improve, except maybe that some of the furniture would benefit from a major "overhaul".

This is a very nice and quiet place and perfect for families and family reunions. The location at the heart of the LünerbirgerHeide is perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable, even though beds, furniture, etc. were somewhat dated. The breakfast was perfect and the personnel most friendly and helpful.

My singular wish would be a possibility for outdoor dining during this Covid era.

Landhaus Eickhof is a great place to spend a quiet holiday on the road less traveled. Courteous staffers begin your day with warm greetings & farm fresh eggs made to order. A variety of choices provide a hearty breakfast for many tastes. Top that off with a spotlessly clean room, a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. Value for money, tasty regional food & great servers completes the dining experience. The snitzel was amoung the best I've had, covered in a exquisite mushroom sauce. Our stay in the magical Lüneburg Heath was enjoyable thanks to our hosts at Eickhof!

When arriving, we didn't receive any information on e.g. where and at what time breakfast was served or where to park the car (which wasn't obvious, instead I had to specifically ask), we were only shown to our room.

The breakfast was good. Very good value!
