We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

DenmarkHaverbeckhof is located very central for experiencing Lühneburger Heide: It is right outside the door. We came a little unprepared of what the area could offer, but we were very overwhelmed by the area. We arrived quite late in the evening, but we were welcomed by a staff member, that had waited for us. The room was quite big and we enjoyed our 2-night stay. We had brought our dog, which we were allowed to bring into the diningroom, where we had our breakfast - which was very good, by the way. If going back to Lühneburger Heide, we would definitely come back to Haverbeckhof.

Netherlandswhy charge 50 euro-cents for catsup ?? Unfortunately this is what guests remember, not the really nice dinner meal. Rather they remembers the ridiculous charge. Please consider the big picture & not the detailed accounting
Nice location in Lüneburger Heide -- large enough for our group of 7 adults needing 4 rooms, but not too large to be impersonal!

just BOOK it! it’s HEAVEN ON EARTH! and it’s only 52 minutes from Hamburg. I want to spent an entire WEEK here. exquisit nature everywhere, walking trails right behind the house into heaven, birds chirping everywhere, just marvelous. food is good, solid german food. rooms ok not the modern style chic but solid and clean. book it!

We asked the staff and they said "it must be broken", but when we returned to the hotel 4 days later and stayed in a room in another house on the opposite side of the road, there were no wi-fi there either. Only in the restaurant in the main building. The room had an automatic ceiling lamp which lit, when you went to the toilet in the night, disturbing your partner.
Very fine location in the midst of Lüneburger Heide. Fine restaurant.

GermanyThe hotel and grounds are beautiful and really well maintained. The staff were attentive, friendly and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the restaurant was also good for a lunch or evening meal. The location is fantastic as a base for hiking, cycling etc. The room was immaculately clean. We would definitely return.
