We did not like the cleaning. Under the beds nobody cleaned for a while, it was not cleaned before we got there. There was a bottle cap that wasn't ours. And they did not clean it either when we were there. The room was much too hot, I think 24 C, in January! We complained at the reception. It was dificult to turn off the heater. When we did, it still was too hot. We opened the windos every time we were out. It was hard sleeping in such a hot room.

The breakfast was great! Location fine, we chose this because we didn't want to stay in the busy centre of Berlin. We did not hear other guests, so that was great!

There was no kettle in the room to make yourself a cup of tea. Instead in the room was a Water bottle for €3.00 to buy.

The toilet had some stains and the sockets didn’t have international plugs. So I couldn’t use my laptop. Furthermore there where no English speaking TV channels.

The breakfast was an appetizing spread and the staff warm and friendly. The location is close to some shopping malls.

Access to the old is not easy and fast. Our room faced the street and it was too noisy. We need to keep the windows open all the time due to the hot weather on those days.

Car parking increased in a few weeks from 5 EUR to 8 EUR. Free water would be nice. The hotel was as usual overheated.

We didn't like that they put €5 on the parking door and at the hotel they asked us for €8 a day. In addition, on that sign it said that they were not responsible for the safety of the vehicle: this created insecurity and doubts, but fortunately everything went well. The price seemed expensive to us, given the distance from the center; the appearance somewhat old and the surroundings somewhat dark.

We liked that we could park at the door, the spacious room (studio type) and having a tram nearby.

- location is very far from city centre like 16 stops by tram and no S/U bahn nearby - even the still water is chargeable at €4, mindblowing - not even a kettle provided, another mind blowing

it was new and they check in earlier than our time but Wifi was terrible also reception weren’t very nice

The staff were fairly cold and unwelcoming. We asked a couple of questions across the 2 days of our stay and felt like we were really inconveniencing staff. we paid €12 per person for breakfast. there was a lack of variety, the staff were running around chaotically. The plates and coffee mugs, once run out, were not replenished and my family had to use side plates for food and the smallest cups. The games room advertised by the hotel was closed the whole time. There are only 2 elevators for the 15 floor hotel and we sometimes had to wait 5-10 mins in order to get in one. The toilet had a scum ring at the top of the water. There was a lack of food facilities around the hotel and we ended up ordering in the first night- not the hotel’s fault but just take note. This may be usual for Germany, but I was horrified that on the 14th and 15th floors you could open the window all the way wide open and just lean out!

The rooms were a good size. we. had a rooms on the 14th and 15th floors so the views were excellent and the windows were large. The heating in the bathrooms and bedrooms wee efficient. The beds, although on the small size were reasonably comfortable. Parking onsite and tram a short walk from hotel.
