How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

All in all a great place! Unfortunately some rough-sleepers camped out in front of the door which was uncomfortable to get past. Also in another room down the hall there was a family with 5-6 children and crammed in to a room and they were very loud and inconsiderate all during the evening and night and because there was no staff on site, there was nothing that could be done

The sink at bathroom was clogged and was difficult to use it!
The location was ideal, the apartment was well equipped for a few days stay and the mattress was very comfortable for a nice sleep!!

FINDING THE PARKING WAS A BIG HASSLE. TO GO TO PARKING, WHICH IS JUST BENEATH THE HOTEL, ONE HAS TO DRIVE 2-3 KMS TO GET TO THE ENTRANCE OF THE PARKING. THE OTHER NEARBY PARKING IS EXPENSIVE: 2.50 EUROS /HR AND 17 EUROS PER DAY.

The toilet has a bit smell.
The location is good, there are many restaurants around the place. The facilities in the room are quite considerate. Check-in is also easy, no need to contact the staff.

The concept remains very impersonal and relying on guests having network access relatively shortly before actual arrival. Other, similarly organized places give you more margin in advance. The surroundings outside the building remain somewhat drab and if one does not close the curtains fully, rather garishly lighted during the night.
On this second stay at limehome Darmstadt we had no problems with the apartment's facilities, so our overall rating went up compared to the last one. These apartments remain quite large and modern, well-equipped in general and very conveniently located for a stay in central Darmstadt. Grocery shopping options are very close (I recommend biokaiser bakery just around the corner) but also many restaurant options – including multiple without leaving the overall building complex. Checking in via codes was no problem and everything just went smoothly. While struggling to communicate in a language we speak, the cleaning lady was very friendly and the apartment was very clean. Wifi worked perfectly and at a good speed.

The cleaning could be done periodically to ensure that bath linen is changed.
The location of the property is great. Its right in the city centre. Its a walkable distance from restaurants, trams, buses and super markets. Great property. I will definitely choose this for all my upcoming stays.

There is no direct entrance from street, difficult to carry luggage to the room.

The location was a bit hard to find with Google Maps. Also my door access code didnt work so I had to call a customer service hotline for help, which was somwhat inconvenient, despite the fact that the customer service agent was super kind and helpful.
Great location near many restaurants and shops. The facilities were new and very clean. There was also the nice touch of a small welcome gift when I entered.
