Outside was a little smell of farm, which I'm personally used to so it wasnt a huge issue. Other than that, no problems occured.

The hotel was in very nice location, 10 min drive from Reutlingen. Very helpful reception, knew English and everything was smooth.

The location is not great and required us to take an 18 minute bus ride to get here from the Tubingen train station. It seems to be in a quaint, small residential town with no activity around.

A bit old and noisy building. Bed was small and not very comfortable for me. I found it expensive for the quality, but Tübingen was full.

Room was very warm, and only ventilation is the window which allows in LOTS of bugs (proximity to woods).

Quiet room in a very small town outside Tübingen - very nice looking pizzeria attached to the restaurant. Basic but sufficient breakfast, with friendly service.

For us nothing really negative to mention. At the time we were there (Easter 2022) the WiFi internet connection had some technical issues and had a character by itself, but was likely only a temporary thing. Watch out, not all power plugs are connected: in our room there was a power plug conveniently integrated in the table/fridge combination, I plugged in my charger to load the mobile phone overnight only to realize the next morning that the power cables under the plug were cut off and there was not a plug anywhere close to that place (the integrated plug and fridge were basically just facade ;-)). But not a big deal as there where sufficient other plugs in the room. Also beware that there is no lift in the hotel, so a daily fitness exercise is included ;-). Not an issue for us, but could be an issue if you are not a sporty person.

We stayed 2 nights at the Loewen on our road trip through Baden Württemberg. The location is perfect as a base for visiting the area around Tübingen by car. The car is absolutely necessary as this is definitely country side. But the highway is very close, driving to Tübingen Center it is about 7km. Our room was in the roof area, quite small, but clean and very quiet. Very friendly, family run hotel. Breakfast was good and sufficient. We did not eat in the restaurant, but the menu list looked ok (Pizzeria).

Due to the traffic with heavy snow I came firstly after 10pm. That was already after check-in, but the personel has left the keys in the box. The room was freezing, heating was switched off. I needed to stay additional 2 hours awake in the jacket when the room got little bit warm. The bed was also very uncomfortable.

The walls are very thin and we heard every word from a phone conversation from our Spanish neighbour. The hotel says it is pet-friendly but actually does not welcome dogs. Dogs are allowed for a high fee (10 euros per dog per day)

Breakfast was nice. The rooms were OK for the price. It was not too far away from Tubingen. We initially thought the price was good but had to pay an additional (high) fee for the dogs, so the price turned out to be untrue.

A booking for 2 adults and a child included only a double bed. If you wanted an extra bed, it costs 30 euro extra. We Got towels and pillows for 2 people only, even if we booked for 3. The shower didn't have a separation from the rest of the bathroom. Everything was getting wet after the shower
