I love everything about the hostel! The staff was extremely friendly, beds were clean and comfy, location is a bit far from Heidelberg hbf but is in the center of old town. It’s perfect for solo travelers!

The communal living room is not very large ( but it is nice and cosy, and there were always enough chairs for everyone).

It was the cleanest and best-run hostel I’ve ever stayed in! The owners have thought of almost everything the guests could possibly need! The staff were fantastic! The showers were great! The location can’t be beaten! Even my towel was fluffy! Every hostel should be like this!

Water pressure is a little bit weak for shower but still acceptable.

Location is in the old town , next to the cable car station , it is easy for traveller go to surrounding sightseeing area. Kitchen and free breakfast are great. The washroom and bathroom are clean. WiFi is good, staff are very helpful and nice. Highly recommend this !!!!!

Alles gut, nothing bad

Everything. The kitchen is well stocked with a coffee machine, stove, fridge, electric water boiler and all kinds of dishes to eat with. The bathrooms are super c;lean and comfortable and there is automatic LED lighting turning on at night as you walk from your room to the bathroom or kitchen. The hostel is environmentally conscious with many green policies and recycling boxes. The staff are all warm, caring and knowledgeable. The owner Carmen is the most wonderful person so welcoming and helpful you can ever meet on this Earth.

It was a great place.

Safe, comfortable, friendly and personal. We felt welcome and in the presence of good people with our stays. It will be sometime till we all return, but our Lotte stays will be a shared highlight of the wonderful time spent in Heidelberg. A cozy, comfortable, homely hostel that brings together people from all over the world. The breakfast (muesli and cornflakes with milk, plus coffee/tee) was a very pleasant surprise. Beds are super comfortable, it's warm and cozy in the rooms. All the facilities are super clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming. The attention to detail in design is extraordinary!

The place was small and welcoming. There were tons of outlets on every bed. They provided a key for you locker so you don’t have to bring your own and they provide you cereal, milk, tea and coffee, so you don’t need to worry about what you’re having for breakfast
