Busses were hard to navigate from train station as there are lots of bus/teams stops, very confusing. After an hour ended up having to get a taxi. But going from hostel bus stop is right outside so very easy to go anywhere!

THE BEST location! Super friendly people. Cereal 24/7 was amazing! And oat milk for a non dairy person was a happy surprise! Kitchen/common area great. I was shocked to hear that they wash up for you! You just leave dirty plates in the tub and they put in the dishwasher. Meant all the cutlery was super clean. Small supermarket just around the corner so perfect to make some fried eggs in the morning. Getting to cook and not clean was a treat! Female dorm was very quiet, comfortable bed and lots of space. Stayed 3 nights and had an amazing stay!

We received a warm and friendly welcome to the accommodation. A home style atmosphere, in a well appointed historic building that was comfortable, definitely made our stay memorable. Thank you Lotte for a lovely introduction to Heidelberg.

Watch out as the hostel is very nice and comfy, you may want to stay inside and lose the beauties of Heidelberg! :) just kidding! there is nothing bad about this hostel.

This hostel might be small and somewhat aged, but it's been lovingly maintained and adorned with an extraordinary sense of style and enthusiasm, resulting in a wonderfully snug and welcoming atmosphere. The staff members are fantastic and consistently friendly, always attentive to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. The hostel effortlessly provides all the amenities one could hope for. The rooms are pleasantly spacious without feeling overcrowded, featuring in-room lockers for your belongings. The beds are fairly comfortable, and the cleanliness of the toilets and showers is impeccable. even the pleasant demeanor of other fellow guests, who seem to understand the importance of maintaining a peaceful ambiance, further adds to the hostel's positive vibe. It's safe to say that this harmonious atmosphere is largely due to the hostel's unique character built by passion and care.

Me and my friend left the luggage in the lovely peaceful bedroom and in a fifteen-minutes walk we were up on the Castle hill! In the hostel you have your indipendence but the common spaces are neetly cured and cleaned, great athmosphere and Carmen was very kind to us, she offered an umbrella since we weren't prepared for rain... We love Heidelberg and we love this hostel!

Loved the style and setup of the hostel, with a nice kitchen (with free OAT milk for your coffee, that’s amazing for the vegans around), and a living room to hang out. Everything was clean and we could do a self check in which was organised easily. Great great hostel!!!

The hostel's isolation is not the greatest probably as it's an old building. Now the dorm noise is part of what you pay for, but if people were smoking outside of the hostel or talking it could keep you awake at night. Especially if they were standing there for a long time, it was really loud like they were in the room. Also if people in the (living room?) were loud at night, you could hear it in the dorm. But this is minor compared to all the +'s this hostel provides, would definitely go again.

Great and kind service, they provide you with a city map and think along. Also the hostel is creatively decorated (and in some places even has interactive decoration...) and there's a cute living room with books, board games and guitars. The kitchen provides you with several types of cornflakes and milk. The hostel is clean and there's good hygiene. The surrounding location is even more beautiful in life. The bed's are quite good. There's free coffee or tea. Also there's a seperate bathroom for women. Free shampoo/douchegel. They are environment-oriented.

It's very good, the location is tens of meters away from the bus station, the room is big, there is a separate girl's bathroom, there is a big bathroom, there is a hair dryer; there are sockets and USB at the bedside, the kitchen is very complete and clean, because there is a dishwasher, you don't need to wash it, it's free The espresso is all you can drink. Although breakfast is not included, there are free milk and cereals. You can see that the landlord has been busy cleaning, cleaning the kitchen, etc., very diligent;

Minuses are typical for hostels, where one should share the space with neighbors. So, nothing specific for Lotte, I guess. But a towel could have been included 😉

Everyone is so nice here. When I arrived in the morning (hours before the check-in time) the owner/manager lady promised to prepare my bed as early as possible after hearing that I spent the previous night on a night bus. I also got a tour of the hostel and could hang out there drinking the free coffee until my bed was ready while my suitcase was secured in a storage room. I also asked for a bottom bed and I got it :) Best hostel I ever stayed at!

The location was excellent, perfect location for visiting die Altstadt and Schloss Heidelberg. The staff was very friendly and very helpful, they were able to speak perfect English. The dormitories and shared spaces were clean and thoughtfully decorated.

In the mornings around 8am delivery trucks for the nearby stores/restaurants started drivning right outside our window. I don't think that is the case in every room though.

Amazing staff and beautiful hostel overall. It was very spacious with multiple floors and big rooms. Very organized with beds and lockers. Multiple outlets right next to your bed! Really close to the old town and walking distance to the castle

The beds weren't very comfortable but not bad either.

The hostel was very clean and had a nice social area where you could make coffee or have some cereal. The location is also great and you're right next to the main street with bars and restaurants.

No curtains on each individual bed I booked a 5 person room but was put in a 6 person room The lockers were extremely squeaky and loud, meaning it was hard to open them quietly and not disturb roommates

Everything literally: first I didn’t believe that that was actually the hostel’s location when I’ve arrived. Then, I also didn’t believe how nice and informative Barbara was when she introduced me to all the facilities in the hostel. Then the room was sooo comfortable that I felt like sleeping right away :)) Everything is very well illustrated with signs written in both English and German. Literally the place is 10/10
