Bernried is not the most exciting of locations.

Very nice breakfast buffet, friendly staff. My room was also a good size with a wide view of the lake. Nice, well appointed bathroom too.

Breakfast was very rich but there are problems with service, unacceptable for this kind of hotel. E.g. We could not find small spoons, the staff unable to help.

Restaurant was a bit disappointing. Staff not speaking English, long waiting for everything. Seems like they are rushing and doing a lots of mistakes and it doesn't make a pleased visit. Shame. The view is beautiful. Steak excellent cheeks not so good. More fat than meat. Other than that. The place is awesome and hotel amazing.

Location, breakfast and pool. Little details like robes, slippers unlimited towels by pool. Free refresments by the pool and reception. Beautiful view from balcony.

Hotel is a bit old and bedrooms too. The spa area consist of a small swimming pool and one steams room. The gym is only 3 cardio machines and that’s it, not weights or anything if you are expecting to train there. The price is a bit higher for what you get. I would just come back because of the location.

It is in front of the lake with very easy access to it. The hotel consists in different house and you need to move between the to go to the spa area or the restaurant so keep that in mind. In front of the restaurant there is a SUP station where you can rent some. The service was good.

Breakfast was not worth it unfortunately… the food wasn’t fresh as could have been, the boiled eggs and scrambled eggs cold and the mezze / continental selection not fresh enough. Perv in the sauna not really something that the hotel can do anything about, except maybe highlight the rules and ask guests to show respect at all times

lunch and dinner poor. if the hotel would be renovated it would be amazing. overall good value for money. the pool is used for private sport activities for people out of the hotel, which occupied the pool during the most busy time. This is really bad. it makes no sense! and the pool is cold, should have 2 more degrees..

One rooms was very old fashioned.

We booked 2 rooms and one was very nice and moderne whereas the other room and specially the bathroom was very old fashioned and didnt feel as nice as the other.

The rooms are old. There was no air conditioning in the room...it was hot and we had to open the window for ventilation, but we smoked on the balcony next to it and all the smoke came in.

The rooms are large and spacious. Excellent and delicious breakfast. The view is perfect.

I requested a quiet room, but unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the room terrace in the evening because of the awful pop music playing until 10pm at the Terrasse restaurant nearby. It was really irritatingly loud and I can't imagine how depressing that is for the neighbors who want to enjoy the beautiful natural setting. We had to suffer the same dreadful pop music during breakfast and later when we met friends for a coffee on the Terrasse in the afternoon. The hotel pretends to be classy and elegant, but the music is the opposite. We and our friends would have preferred light jazz or classic. Then, very early in the morning on Sunday, all kinds of noisy farm equipment roared in the street nearby making it impossible to enjoy sleeping in. At 9:00 am, construction work with loud drilling started on our house unit. I am at a loss as to understand why the hotel assigned us to that room when we specially requested a quiet room. Another disappointment was having to wait until 15:00 to check in. The front desk didn't know whether the room was ready and it took an hour to figure it out. Meanwhile, every other customer checking in seemed to get the key to their room immediately. We would have appreciated just putting our bags in the room, even if it was not ready, so we could enjoy a swim. But the hotel staff was not creative or flexible. Instead we wasted a precious hour of a beautiful Sunday sitting in the lobby. Finally, the rooms need a screen for flies or mosquitos.

We liked the larger-sized room we received in Haus 1 with the large bed and hardwood floors. The view was wonderful. Bathroom was modern and the bed was super comfortable.

The general condition of the door of the balcony is that they have to be replaced or an excellent thorough maintenance made. They are from wood and this makes them to fail prone to the humidity. This and other details resemble an former magnificent outfit. A face lift will be necessary and should be done gradually.
