We stayed one night at Maurushaus and were very satisfied. It is an old house with its history and atmosphere, nice and clean. The room was big enough, the beds were good, nothing posh, but there were all facilities we needed, and the price was very good for budget travellers. The hotel is close to the train and bus station. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Herr Alexander explained about the public transport and how to get to Neuschwanstein. He also suggested the sights we should see in Fussen, a lovely small city with a beautiful, nicely restored old part. I would definitely recommend staying at Maurushaus.

Nothing, crackery floors can be expected in an old house.

Nice to stay in such an old house, with many authentic details. Spacious family room including kitchen to cook our own meal. The hosts were very welcoming: we received lots of suggestions, a welcome drink and the fire in our room was on (which was needed becausw there was snow outside). Good price for what you get!

The lodging is located in a historical house very near the centre. Location and "genius loci" of the house are extraordinary. The approach of owners was also very nice.

Had such a fantastic stay here! The owner was so helpful and informative about the area, which made our trip so much easier. The breakfast was so generous for the price and it was so great being able to make sandwiches for the day. It is in such a great location and I really don't think it can be beaten for value for money.

Very helpful owner, who goes out of his way to make your stay enjoyable (information regarding things to see, restaurants etc). Welcome drinks included, as well as a city card entitling you to bus and museum discounts. Excellent and plentiful breakfast. Microwave oven and fridge in the family room. Highly recommended.

- the owners are very hospitable and nice - the bed is huge - big room - free and good secure parking - you can get everything bus ticket and all in one place - you can store bags and all - free coffee

The Floors because we were using Boots with heels and evertime we walk it can be heard and i think it is disturbing to others. The Owner can somehow put some Floor rags on the stair for less noise :) . But so far it is so good 10/10

Amazing building! You absolutely feel ambience of old town. The host is very polite and warmly welcomed us, told all about the town. The room was comfortable with all necessary things, even microwave. Breakfast also was really good - the host even gave us a bag that we could wrap some snacks to go. We definitely will come back!

I would love for the hotel to provide basic toiletries in the room, as well as tea/coffee making facilities.

A really charming hotel right in the town centre. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and helpful and offer good insights about the local area. The breakfast is delicious and great value for money. I would 100% stay here again and recommend Maurushaus to others.

Just a shower curtain, it makes the shower smaller, it sticks to the body and the water goes outside, maybe consider to find another solution

Old hapuse with great charm. Prepare for squeaky floor but it's the the beauty of the house. Great location with a parking place. Very friendly and helpful owners. Great value for breakfast, you get to pack yourself a lunch packet.

Nothing that i did not like.

Really great host. Hard working host that goes to no end to meet your needs. Considering the age of the building, i would say it has been maintained beyond exceptional. Definitely going here one more time.

We had a wonderful one night stay at Maurushaus.The owner was very helpful and informative about Füssen and the surrounding area. Great location close to dining, coffee, groceries and shopping. Also close to many historic sites and activities. While the building is extremely old and has its quirks it is kept very clean. Breakfast was traditional and lots of it! We were encouraged to pack a bag lunch from the breakfast buffet...what a nice bonus! Thank you!

We were greeted with such wonderful hospitality! Breakfast was delicious and we were provided bags to pack a sandwich for lunch. The apartment very comfortably accommodated out family of 5. We would be happy to return.
