Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaNo access ramp for baby carriages. We have booked a stay at the main building of the hotel, but we were offered a room in the building across the street. We found cobwebs in the room. The sink was continously overflowing despite removing the sink plug. They had no baby chair in the breakfast room and a member of staff indicated that we should go and get it ourselves from their other building across the street. I had to complain at the reception in order to sort this out. No slippers are provided in the room. The price was exaggerated for the services offered. The pillows were uncomfortable. I woke up with a stiff neck after each night. I stayed a few months ago at Novotel, which is 5 minutes away. Superior in every way. Would have booked a room there, if any rooms would have been available.
The location is good. There is a supermarket 5 minutes away on foot from the hotel. The same goes for the tram station. You can take the tram and then switch to get to downtown Frankfurt. This takes approximately 30 minutes. The breakfast was good. The room quite was large but dated.

ItalyI found the breakfast to be overpriced, for which reason I did not take it. This was however compensated by a great value for money of the room rate
The rooms were cozy and clean, with all the needed facilities. Staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the hotel's bar. I also had a great price for the room during my stay.

United KingdomThe ongoing building work that was taking place, I appreciate that there needs to be renovations, but doing them with guests is pretty poor. Don't seel those rooms on that side of the street.
The room was large and had a good place to work. It's a good location near a supermarket and local bar and restaurants.

United KingdomSlightly odd that the bathroom was behind a glass window in the bedroom. Fine as I was single occupancy but you would have to know someone very well if sharing!

IndiaNo hot water kettle inside room. Tea drinker like me was facing issue. No toiletries other than hand wash / body wash. Everyday breakfast has same items, no change .. no Asian food. No live counters. Always queue at Coffe machine.. could have 3-4 machines. Hair dryer was having dust and spider webs.
Location wise okay as train station is just 5 minutes walk and department store is just opposite to grab your basic necessities.

United KingdomFor a 4-star hotel, there are a few things missing. Especially when accommodating people coming to Frankfurt for work, i.e. exhibitions. We did not have any access to iron or ironing boards, except for the utility room which had only one working iron. For some of our staff, the lack of a kettle was also a minus. Having a kettle in the room with some coffee/tea etc is now standard in any European hotel. One of the staff members almost shouted at me when I grabbed some tea to have in my room for later when I get back from work, which was very disappointing.
The hotel is located in a quiet and clean area, which is a bonus. The breakfast was good

It’s 10 minutes from the Messe, and WLAN is extra on top. The included WLAN is not usable for work, just for Netflix. Amicable staff, supportive and caring, but the hotel has seen better times and is a candidate for a renovation. Lots of small and mediums sauté consultancy companies as a customers. It would help if you asked for an Omelett when you have breakfast, it’s great.

JapanThe staff is almost never at the reception, so sometimes difficult to ask for a help. The bread at breakfast was not very good (compared to the price paid for a breakfast). The room was a little bit dark because it doesn't have a light on the ceiling.
Very accessible to the city centre, the room is really clean. It's close to a supermarket and a public transportation. The hotel is equipped with a room you can iron your clothes, and it was very practical for a business trip.

IndonesiaThe venue looks like an old hotel from outside. The chair in my room has peeled off cover.
The location is in the city center. Easy to reach. The REWE supermarkt is just in front of the hotel open from Monday to Saturday 7-22. The S-Bahn station is 5-7 minutes walk. The street train station is very close from hotel. The hotel is clean.

TurkeyIf there would be a swimming pool, it would be perfect. Of course it is not not a must but after the exhibition, it is always nice to pass ome time in the swimming pool.
The room was big enough. My room was looking at the garden side so it was quiet. But my colleagues who stayed on the road side told that their room was also quiet. Breakfast was good. In general it was a nice stay.
