Great hostel. Clean, quiet, had everything I needed, prompt comunication with the owner. I loved it. And I love Berlin. 7 night here I felt like home.

the facilities were very clean and had everything you needed! the location was also very nice and convenient. the location oh the hostel was also very cool and was 5 min walk from different cafes, restaurants and bars! the staff was also super friendly!!

The hostel was stylish and comfortable. Even in the dorm the layout and furnishing gave each bed plenty of space and privacy. There was good storage for clothes and luggage. The kitchen/dining area was spacious and good-looking, there were house shoes to borrow when you left your outdoor shoes by the door, the bathrooms were sparkling clean, the location was perfect in every way, and the staff were so kind and lovely. It felt more like an airy apartment than a hostel. And I thought the price was really good, especially for such a great neighbourhood.

If there was a stove to fry some eggs for breakfast, it would have been complete :D The locker didn't seem very safe, but i trust people mostly, so i wasn't worried. Makramee curtains sure look nice, however some people might prefer real curtains for more privacy. Enough nitpicking, i had a great stay. Thank you!

Simple, easy and chill, comfy style, friendly host, nice roommates, love the area.. Rented a bike from the hostel, it was all good. I felt really relaxed and in a good place. Would book there again.

The locked drawer was cool but didn't look that safe to me. I would also add one more towel to the service.

Good atmosphere, clean and warm. Great neighborhood Clear instructions to enter the apartment, respectful customers and staff. I liked the little bathroom and the big one downstairs with the showers, it looks like a sauna. Tea, towels and very clean dishes available.

The anhowers are in the basement and There was sometimes smell like mold/pipes in the house . Same for the towels they offer.

Location is great, very well organised and minimal. Beautiful rooms and comfortable beds.

Slippers seemed a little dirty. The shower that I used (there are two in total) had difficult regulation as the temperature kept fluctuating and very low water pressure so it was hard to wash my thick hair.

Friendly staff. 24h check in with PIN. No curfew. Free tea and coffee. Close to the river and a late night corner shop. Comfy bed. Lock on bedside table. Everyone gets multiple clothes hangers. 10 minute walk to closest Underground. Good value for price.

Just a one off, but someone clogged the second toilet with a T shirt. Fortunately the staff was swift at repairing the toilet. The first toilet was fine to use.

Spacious and cozy dorm room. Ample breathing room. Closer bonds being made with hostel guests. Location can be accessed via public transportation and 10 mins walk.

Within a minimal facility, this accommodation provides all amenities you may need in a short trip. Really liked the warm welcome and friendly behaviour of the owner. Its a cozy and quiet stay at a very lively location well-served with public transport.

I enjoyed my stay at Minimal hostel very much. The whole place is very clean and quiet, offering a comfortable refuge from the buzz and fuzz of the busy city. It is small property, although offering enough personal space and opportunity for a good night sleep. All the communication with the host was smooth, clear and friendly.

no large lockers to store your bags (but did have small ones for valuables). street outside is quite noisy but not terrible and way quieter than central Berlin! no A/C or fans so would be trickier to sleep well in if more than 25 degrees outside- but that is common in Germany as it’s not that hot most the year. main thing is please don’t start cleaning the room until after check out/ all guests have left for the day. as a guest its a bit frustrating to be woken up at 10am when checkout is 11am and have people stripping beds etc when you are trying to get ready. I really appreciate an 11am checkout as 10am is too early often (it’s one of the reasons I booked) but it would be better to even say to guests checkout is 10am but we allow late checkout until 11am if needed. that way the guest can stay for longer but knows they will need to be up by 10 so you can start cleaning. or ideally just start cleaning at 11am if possible :)

really cute cosy hostel. nice quiet vibe in the dorm which is what I wanted. easy after hours check in. clean bathrooms. loved the location near the canal. a bit out of the city but that’s what I wanted !

Only 1 working shower at the time i was there.

Perfect location! Handy to the city but still far enough away that it feels very quiet. Nice market right outside for food and vegetables. Street parking is easy enough to find. Clean place and fast wifi.
