Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsRooms were pretty warm, its hard to bring the temp down with a window open. If you don’t pick the special offer meals (which were perfect bu the way), the restaurant is pretty expensive looking at the main courses meat/fish in particular.
Perfect stop over hotel for us. Friendly people, tidy rooms, a wedding that was in no way disturbing, good atmosphere in the restaurant and great breakfast with lots of choice. And many charging spots (also being available).

wow, the hotel was way above our expectations. the room was spacious - we had an extra bed and a cot, the bathroom - spacious and clean, the breakfast was rich offering different veggies and fruits (our experience with hotels in Germany is that these are not vastly offered), we had dinner at the restaurant and again, it was very good. hotel and restaurant staff were kind, friendly.

We were visiting family member nearby so this place was perfect for us. Breakfast was very nice. We also enjoyed a dinner in the attached restaurant. We will stay there again. The neighborhood is an interesting mix of city and rural. You will see farm tractors as well as Mercedes driving by.

United KingdomYou need a car as you're going to be in a village just outside of Ylm, but very close to EvoBus and if dog walking is you're thing, the walking trails through the fields just 1 mins walk from the hotel are superb.
Stayed here now many times and never have time for reviews, so let me keep this succinct. If you love quality accommodation and food, love to take your best 4 legged friend where he is welcome everywhere and don't mind paying for what you get then this is the place for you. The rooms are large, immaculate with high quality everywhere and the bath is large enough for a 'Real Human'. The food isn't cheap but you will not be disappointed and the beer, bar, breakfast and staff are simply fantastic. I don't bother staying anywhere else...
