The staff is super friendly. The Hotel receives you with a warm welcome. The Staff bends over backwards to make you feel at ease. The Staff ensures you can relax. Very attentive staff also at breakfast. Tea and coffee is hot and good quality.

Bed was, for me, not very comfortable as the mattress was too thin with little support. But my partner thought it was fine as she likes a hard mattress.

Restricted check-in times however this was made clear at the time of booking and should not detract from the overall review.

Hotel Manager/Owner could not have been more helpful with check-in and out and providing information on local transportation. The hotel is in beautiful area around ten minutes bus journey from the main railway station and the building itself is renovated to and maintained in a superb condition. Rooms are comfortable, clean and functional. The breakfast offering was adequate but could have benefitted from a greater selection and quantities.

The WiFi basically didn't work at all. I couldn't work from my room which is really bad since this was a business trip and i had to be on my hotspot. That really has to be improved. I could receive emails but It didn't load a page and calls were impossible. For the price I'd appreciate some small free coffee/tea bar at the reception for the guests. (plus the older tall lady that was one day taking care of the reception and breakfast could be nicer;) )

The hotel is in an amazing location. It's green, quiet, next to the Alster and with a great connection to the city. So great for walks and also for getting to the city in like 10 min. I had a beautiful balcony facing the trees and the little garden just for myself. Which I used a lot for work and reading till the dark :) Room was quite old-school but very clean and bed was comfy. I had to fight with the shower door a little but the bathroom was pristine. Breakfast is big enough (bread, buns, hams/salami + cheeses, fruit salad, some eggs (unfortunately not really warm,.. also you have to come early because the eggs - scrambled or hard boiled - were gone already around 8:30), juices, marmelades... I'd appreciate more vegetables (in terms of more than just 5 small tomatoes or 10 slices of cucumber. It was gone immediately and i had to ask for more to come. but overall I liked it. The staff was also very nice.

everything is very good. if I have to say one, it would be better that the heating can be open before our arrival. it took us a long time to feel the room is warm, especially in a high ceiling room

It was cold in the room the first day of my arrival though I used heating, espacially at night. But the next morning it was okay.

The hotel itself is really nice. It is located not far from the downtown and near the metro in a very quiet area. The room is tiny but cosy. There is everything you need. The staff is great: friendly and polite. Breakfasts inspire: nicely served, food fresh and tasty enough.

My single room was tiny... incredibly tiny. and different from the website, the single room didn't even have space for a desk. One has to step over the corner of the bed to make it to the balcony door. The room is too small to spend any material time in it and feel comfortable. but then again, you don't visit Hamburg to be in a hotel room, right?

A very nice, small hotel. Terrific staff, reasonable breakfast, super location, full adherence to mask mandate and everything was spotless clean. My room at a big, covered balcony overlooking the backyard!

The room was rather dark, even with the sun shining. Removal of some of the trees in the garden would help. Regarding breakfast, it would much heighten the experience if the bread was freshly baked.

A small hotel with very friendly staff, impeccable cleaning, and a wonderfully cool, quiet, beatifully furnished room. The bathroom and the room itself seemed to have been refurbished not too long ago. The location is close both to good restaurants and parks near the lake. Compared with other options, Miramar gives much value for the price.

I can’t say I didn’t like a thing but it is good to know that it is 15-20 minutes walking distance from the historical centre.

It is a cozy and intimate hotel. We felt that we were alone because it was so quite. The room was big and so beautiful 😍 the breakfast was very good. The modifications made for avoiding the COVID were very good, we really felt protected. The area where the hotel is located is beautiful and quite. You can park your car in the street or inside the hotel for a small price. Our room window was direct to a big green spot, we felt in the nature inside a city 😍

The bed and pillow smelled bad. I asked for the pillow to be changed and they changed only the pillow cover but still it was an uncomfortable smell. For the rest, the bathroom for example was clean.

- Room had nothing to do with the pictures of the room on booking.com. When I mentioned it to the reception, they explained to me that only 1 out of 7 of these rooms is nice like in the pictures… - The garden view is actually a view on othe buildings. No garden… - No shutters to sleep in the dark. Which is a problem when you know that the sun rises at 4:30 in the summer. - Very old beds, pillows and linen. Shameful.

The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood. That’s about it…

The room did not match the pictures at all. It is a very tiny space. Although for me the main problem with this hotel is the complete and utter lack of soundproofing. I could hear every step and drawer being opened upstairs. The last straw for me was hearing someone farting in their toilet. That would probably be okay for a hostel with cheap rooms, but this place presents itself as a rather fancy place with corresponding pricing. I asked the reception if they could do anything about this, but they said there is no other single room available (that was a lie - I checked Booking.com and there was availability for another single room). They said there is nothing they can do since the building is very old and this amount of noise IS EXPECTED. I think this was a misleading advertisement since they know there is a problem with the noise but do not make this explicit in their description. Also, the receptionist told me they never received any complaint about the noise, which is another lie, I checked the reviews more carefully and found those complaining about the place being very noisy and poorly soundproofed. After hearing someone farting in the toilet I just left for another hotel.
