How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Communication was a bit much, due to digital check-in I got so many emails plus booking.com-notifications. Could be simplified. Room was very small, the ones facing the streets are bigger and nicer (but maybe more street noise).
Comfy bed, overall quiet despite located in busy area, clean room.

There is noisy at night due to there are many restuarants near the hotel.
The location is good which not too far from bus or train station. There are supermarket and shop near hotel. On my last day, there is no heat and hot water till the morning. It's very cold for me. However, the staff compensates by providing breakfast for me.

My room was a bit far from the elevator and isolated from the other rooms — two thumbs up because I generally find the neighbors loud. However, the internet was weak/slow and practically didn’t work on my last night/half day.
Nice location, wonderful and silent bedroom, great shower.

The area was not very great for a solo female, strip clubs and generally iffy. bathroom was very weird, I’m glad I traveled alone. check in was confusing, did not really understand where to enter the building for the hotel, which was through the pub? awkward. the check in machine was also broken, and I did not get a key card for my stay (used my phone to unlock), which also was a challenge regarding turning on the lights. next time I stay in Munich I will pick a different area and hotel.
Property was central, and the room was fine.

Nice breakfast but they serve the breakfast late, starting at 7h .. for visitors it is ok, but when we go to work and need to take an early flight, I always miss the breakfast starting at 7h, you should start at 6.30h. as many hotel around Europe do, weekly.
Nice rooms and an excellent restaurant.

- our room dont have a water boiler, at this season (winter) it is essential to have one atleast. no freebies like a bottle of water or coffee to drink in your room. - on the 2nd day, 1 blister pack of our Iburofen is missing. which we just put on the bedside table. - check in time is so late, we came around past 1:30pm and it is not possible to check in earlier. we ask if we can wait on their in house restaurant. but it is also not possible. 😑
location is good, near the central station and Ubahn is just a few minutes away

The room wasn’t very clean and there’s no separated bathroom. the sink is directly in the bedroom and the shower has a transparent glass facing to the bed, not ideal if travelling with a colleague or a friend unless you’re naughty. Toilet has no window. They are literally located inside a pub but they don’t have reserved places for the hotel guests.
The location is very good for the central train/bus station and the city center and the hotel looks quite modern and “young”

The pillows were shockingly terrible. Like they had just got a small bag of cotton balls and put them in a pillowcase. We ended up taking the duvet inserts out of the covers and using those as pillows they were so bad. Also the two small duvets on a queen sized bed was very odd. We also didn't love the location. It was very loud at night, and didn't feel like the greatest area.
The room itself was nice and clean. The brew house on the first floor was a great plus!
