The breakfast was a little disappointing.. no scrambled eggs for instance, only boiled ones. only two yellow cheeses... coffee too weak. fruitsalad icecold.

Nothing in particular, but if I were to be picky - parking spaces tend to be limited at the hotel, however there are plenty of public car parks nearby for a reasonable cost.

Nicely furnished, clean rooms, very well insulated against outside noise. The hotel is ideally located close to a large number of restaurants, bakeries, and other shops.

They were some issues at the reception when we came related to our booking, which made it a bit challenging. Also it took several message to confirm that we can check-in later. However, the people were super polite, but still it took a lot of time to check in stating that we are on a business trip. I stayed in Motel One in other places, but here I missed glasses and/or water bottles (glass ones), which was provided in other facilities.

Good water pressure in the shower, only issue was that the water temperature fluctuated slightly every few seconds to go a bit cold for a second at a time, but not freezing. Relatively minor but should be fixed. Also something happened that never happened to me before: around 9am when I was still in bed, a staff member entered the room without knocking! I was already partially awake so I immediately said something, he apologized and left immediately. I've never had this happen before at any hotel, to enter without knocking and well before the usual cleaning time! Just a one off mistake I hope!

Loved the location, very centrally located in Aachen, while also being easy to get to from the Hauptbanhof (10 minute walk away). Hotel and room were very new and clean. Room was small but completely adequate for a solo traveller. The king bed was super comfortable. I loved that they included two blankets in case two people were sleeping in the bed (which I prefer as it avoids one pulling the blanket off the other), and that they included 2 firm pillows and 2 softer ones so that guests can choose what they like. The blinds were good at blocking out light the morning. And because my window faced the inside wall away from the road, there was no noise which was great for sleeping. Bathroom was also very small but again very nice and clean and everything worked well. Staff were very pleasant.

The common area was really nice, breakfast was very nice (although the choice might seem a bit limited). The room was modern, clean, and the bathroom was excellent, especially we liked the provided soap and shower gel. The location is excellent, very central and neat. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The prices of the drinks in the hotel's lobby were a little bit expensive.

The location couldn't be better, right in front of Aachen's Theater, next to the Dom. I arrived by car and there are several car-park options nearby. The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel looked very new and its lobby was fantastic, plenty of room with very comfortable sofas, very convenient for both working and socialising. The staff was very nice, provided good tips and helped me to plan and collect some bagagges by UPS services, it was really appreciated indeed. I travelled with my dog and it was more than welcome, the staff gave her some snacks and treats.

The standard rooms are too small for a couple. No room on one side of the bed and tiny bathroom. No tea and coffee-making facilities or fridge in the room.

We tried two Motel Ones (here and Köln) for overnight stays on a recent trip to visit family in Germany. This one was well located - near the cathedral and a 10 min walk from the station. The lounge and breakfast areas were attractive and we had a reasonable - if not very exciting - breakfast. Free coffee and tea available there. Good price for a city room.
