Breakfast room seemed too small for peak time occupancy and there didn't seem to be enough staff to cope with demand. However, they did their best and were courteous at all times

I can't think of a single thing to complain about. The hotel was great.

This hotel absolutely exceed my expectations! The neighborhood was beautiful -- tree-lined streets, lots of shops and restaurants, and convenient to public transportation. The room was beautiful -- brimming with old-world charm -- and the 'business center' upgrade had TWO bathrooms (never seen that before in a hotel room), with the best shower I've ever had in a hotel! The breakfast was sumptuous, with pretty much every breakfast food you could think of. And the staff was top-notch -- especially Knute, the afternoon/night front desk person. He was exceptionally personable, funny and helpful. He recommended really good restaurants nearby, offered 'tips and tricks' for what to see and how to get around, and told us multiple stories about the city and what life was like growing up there. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel has no parking of its own. Nevertheless, the maitre d'hotel recommended us a parking nearby the Hotel for our stay at 10€ for 24 hours, which is lower than usual parking in Berlin.

Very comfy room, super quiet, a lot of space in the bathroom, possibility to ask for a special pillow for people sleeping on side or to heat the bed, great breakfast.

Room doors could be a bit thicker/heavier, they are a bit poorly soundproofed. Room (I had No. 21) was a bit small.

Friendly staff, great breakfast buffet, quick repair of broken door lock, was fixed in a few minutes! 👍

Very dark in the room. Also it was very cold when I checked in. I turned on the heat higher and in 5 hours I t was better.

The hotel felt like it had a lot of history but was clean and cozy. Really loved the room and how comfortable it was. The bed was great. The breakfast was also great.

It was beautiful. The garden and lobby, done up for Christmas - the room was wonderful, quiet, warm, elegant, filled with lovely fabrics and colors, and a huge perfect bed. I never left the room, had dinner delivered, took a long fabulous shower, and slept like a baby. And the breakfast was fantastic. ps. had only little contact with the staff, but they were all nice and friendly.

Fascinating historical building with a cozy and authentic feeling, superb breakfast, friendly staff and movie-like bar with piano bar. It felt like a journey to the past but with all the modern comfort. I had a little issue in my room and the staff was very helpful and caring. I loved the Twin Peaks soundtrack in the hall :) A bit pricey but I recommend it!

Quaint hotel with adequate updates and lovely furnishings. Excellent location. The common areas and breakfast room were cozy. Good shower and comfortable bed as well. Friendly and helpful staff. We loved the breakfast.

One of the drains clogged and hair started floating up. Likely from the previous guest who probably shaved. It was disgusting. The toilet also did not feel throughly cleaned. The remote to the TV also barely worked with half of the buttons doing absolutely nothing. It made it hard to enjoy a day staying in the room when my boyfriend was under the weather.

The breakfast was great, the location was perfect, the staff were friendly. It was a beautiful room and a nice hotel overall.

Pleasant location in a mixed residential / commercial neighborhood about 15 minutes from the city center. Nice local restaurants nearby. Very helpful staff on-site.
