Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandI had an accident om the way, ended up comimg late around 10pm. Though I sent messages about late checkin, they went home and there was no way i get in. THERE IS NO REFUND NO REPLY ON REFUND REQUEST. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

GermanyI couldn't figure out how to get hot water for the shower at first. For first-time visitors to Germany, some explanation would be appreciated. The room was pretty clean, but there was a lot of hair on the floor. I didn't mind so much, so it was fine.
I arrived before check-in time, but they were happy to store our luggage. They were friendly and were willing to help me if we had any problems. They spoke English instead of German as I could not speak it. They offered coffee and pastries in the morning. The hotel was so cosy that I ended up staying longer than I had planned. Their heartfelt support made me feel as if I were at home. Thank you so much! I would love to stay here again.

I liked the cleanliness of the place. Sheets and towels are changed. In addition, the accommodation is located just opposite a bus stop. Very practical. The wireless connection works very well. The staff is very pleasant. I'd like to thank you !

Breakfast not served and we had to make our own arrangements. But the hosts - mother and son were extremely polite and co-operative. They made our stay comfortable helping us with whatever we need. We had gone to Dusseldorf to attend the Interpack.The next Interpack is in May 2026 and we would prefer to stay with them

Azerbaijanİ stayed 4 days there and it is not tottaly recommended to book this accomodation. The first is the rooms picture do not coincide to real condition. The bathroom is very small ans narrow. The weather was 7 degree but the heating batteries do not work. It was enable to open the windows, I do not why. The bed was very bad. Everything was verg bad!
