Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

RomaniaWe were a bit surprised when the receptionist charged us an extra 2 euros for 200ml of milk, which we asked for for our baby boy, having arrived late and having been unable to purchase it in any other place. For the rest, everything was fine.

We turned up very early after we landed and we were allowed in the room very early and we were not charged for this. There was a huge choice for breakfast. Transport links were close by There were chocolates, beer, apples and water left in the room.

GermanyMy room was very comfortable with complimentary mineral water. I had asked for a handicapped-accessible room and was pleased with the accommodations. I enjoyed the lavish German breakfasts. I had one meal in the restaurant which is very popular and deservedly so. I chose the hotel for airport access and found it better than a standard airport hotel in every way.

Also, for people travelling from airport a clear instruction on a main website would be nice, as we had to go through all the q&a to find a way;) but it's minor details
The place was exquisit! The stuff was so friendly, room had everything we needed and the airport is really like 15 minutes by public transport away. Free welcome beer from their own brewery was amazing touch!
