How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There was no heat but that was easily solved by them bringing up a wonderful space heater which worked well and I was able to transport into the bathroom so really that was not a problem as all I had to do was ask.
Hot water once I figured it out. Wonderful bathroom. Spacious. 2 TV channels for news in English. Overlooking the street that we come and go on. Great restaurant close to reception, best food and drinks one could ask for. The room had everything I could think of for our needs. Comfy bed. Darkening curtains.

A bit cold room and heating seemed not to work. Staff helped with extra blankets which was really nice.
Super clean and spacious room with comfy bed. Helpful and kind staff. Excellent breakfast. Good location, not far from the old town. Reasonable price.

The immediate area is not really pleasant - but the old city is only a short walk.
Breakfast was great. Sauna/gym were good Proximity to raliway was good.

My room had one of the worst views. Looking over the trash dumpsters, the employee break area, loading dock and an active parking lot

Housekeeping was very sloppy. Twin beds, one bed got made. Other one had duvet thrown on but bed not made. Stains on desk table when we got the room. Dust on floor and on surfaces. Towels in bathroom not changed, and not hung on rack. They were slung on rack, not able to dry. Washcloths not changed either and just left by the sink in a pile. Surfaces in bathroom not cleaned.
The front staff was very nice. Breakfast was great! Room was spacious

It would be great if you could replace the used cups with cleaned ones when you remove them while cleaning.
The room was very clean and neat ( coffee and tea provided). The location was great (5min from the old town). The staff very friendly!

Generally quiet and good soundproofing, but you can hear and feel a tram passing down the street - and we were accommodated on the 4th floor! A bit dated and battered furniture. There was a slight smell in one of the rooms. Although parking places are pretty spacious, driving in- and out could be challenging even on a medium sized car.
Friendly staff, nice breakfast in a spacious area, convenient breakfast- and check-out times, clean and well maintained, underground parking in the same building, located just several minutes by foot from the old city. Pet friendly - our friends were provided with a bed and some treats for their dog!

I can't really think of any negative points really. I can't comment on the food as I didn't have breakfast there.
I thought that the location was great - 5 minutes or so from the main station and a short walk to the city walls. The actual market place is around 15-20min walk away but it didn't feel onerous to walk there and back. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly, and it was comfortable. There was the additional bonus that if you request for your room to not be cleaned, then you get a drink token, which I thought was nice.

I expected the staff at the reception to be more attentive and friendly. :)
The location of the hotel is very good. You can reach the train station, metro and old town on foot in 5 minutes. The rooms are very clean, tidy and comfortable. You also receive standard NN quality service at this hotel.

Bed was extremely firm. Hurt my hips as im a side sleeper. I had to ask for an additional comforter to fold in half underneath me to add padding. Honestly, invest in better pillow top matress covers or something. Interior noise (mostly doors slamming in the hallway) after 0830 so dont think youre sleeping in.
Good location near train station and downtown. Soundproofed from outside street noise. Comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. Sauna and steam room available. Decent bar.
