Comfortable, modern smaller hotel in very cute and central area of Berlin

Loved the location of the hotel .We had a triple room which had a separate room for my son which was great. Hotel is spotless. Staff are friendly, except the lady at breakfast who just wasn't that friendly.

Everything was perfect

It was amazing Much better than the pictures We were in a group of 6, and the room was great, big enough, cleaned. The location is great, there are many many restaurants around. And the employees were also great with us. For sure my favorite hotel in berlin.

Coffee machines at breakfast could be much better. Shame the bar wasn’t open in the early evening.

Our room (number 1) had an unattractive view over the carpark and bin containers. Well, we thought, it should be quiet. Wrong! We arrived on Wednesday and were disturbed Thursday and Friday morning by the bin containers being emptied right outside the window. Hopefully this will stop over the weekend we thought, otherwise we would have asked to change room. Unfortunately not, the bins are emptied every day around 7 am, including Saturday and Sunday. Added to which the hotel kitchen staff would chat outside the back door while having a break and then call across to the bin men.... all this noise amplified by the indoor courtyard. Given that we were booked for 5 nights it would have been sensible to place us in a better room. Even if it was at the rear of the building, a room higher up would have got less noise. The one thing you really want from a hotel is ... sleep! Had we known the bins were emptied every day we would definitely have asked to change room after the first day. A pity as we were very happy with all other aspects of the hotel.

The location was fantastic in central Berlin just across from Museum Island. Newly renovated area but in old world style, lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Alexanderplatz is 500m away and not really attractive, but the Hackescher markt was also 500m away and a great place to visit day and night. The hotel is close to several metro stations and bus stops so all of Berlin's areas were easily accessible. The staff were all really helpful.

At €16.50 a head, I would expect a wider choice of breakfast foods.

Brilliant location, feels like being in a village but right in the centre of town. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Helpful and pleasant staff.

Breakfast a little too expensive. Perhaps children at a certain age should pay a different price. Or pay for what you eat. Found a shoe under the bed 😃😂😂 no big deal. Overall all good. Would stay again.

Fantastic place! Perfect location, 5 minutes walk from metro, bus or tram, plenty of eateries around. Hotel is located in the heart of Nikolaiviertel , right by the River Spree, within walkable distance to plenty of major city attractions. Family owned and run hotel has the most welcoming and professional, friendly and helpful staff. Modern and spacious rooms and bathrooms, with possibility to arrange early / late check ins or check outs. Generous choice of breakfast items at very reasonable price. Will definitely come back!

The air purifier/ventilator was good but not enough for the heat during our first day. The room was always hot, even when it was temperate outside. I would add an air conditioner to the room.

One staff at the reception desk was not good . He promised to give us response about the surveillance camera check but he did not give us any response about it. Because our money was stolen at that time.

The staff here were in incredibly friendly and helpful. Close to Mitte within walking distance to a metro so getting around was really easy. They helped us with a suitcase drop off as we had some drinks and did a walk around the corner which is always amazing. Great room with great amenities. We got a room looking at the TV Tower.

We didn't include breakfast in the booking because of the price. 16.5 euro per person per night reaches 80+ euro for family of five, which is far more than we spent on lunches anywhere in the city.

We needed a room for five people (two adults with three children) in Berlin and found this little hotel in Nikolaiviertel. The room was very comfortable and suited us very well. The location is also excellent, right next to the Alexanderplatz and Museum Island.

Great placement close to Alexanderplatz, but in a quiet side street close to Nikolaikirche. Friendly receptionists. Nice room with good beds and a decent size. No noise from other rooms. Easy to get around in Berlin from here. Recommended!
