Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe windows didn't open enough to get a breeze...no AC. THE "breakfast" was nearly non-existent despite arriving 1.5 hours before it ended. The buffet was not replenished. Had to go elsewhere for breakfast.

Belgiumeverything! it was old and dated dont mind that. we slept cause we were tiered from work. thats it. it was ckean but walls can have an update. showerdoor doesnt close properly. bathroom door doesn’t close at all !! couldn’t have breakfast cause i had to leave at 7 and. way to much money for a room like that.

NorwayWe came down for breakfast at 09 and the serve breakfast until 09:30. There was no food left, the eggs were empty, there was no bread and limited items to put on your bread. I asked the waitress and she apologized that she was not prepared for this many patrons. She was very pleasant, went to the kitchen and found some slices of bread but with very limited selection. This was a disappointment because we had looked forward to a hotel breakfast. I would still visit this hotel again because of the rooms, and the friendliness of the waitress
The room was very large, clean and with comfortable beds.

Swedenthe bathroom had some water damage. when we arrived there was an onion salad left in the fridge which was very stinky. the breakfast was a bit disappointing, they didn’t refill certain things even though there was over an hour left of the breakfast time and the cheese and other sandwich toppings looked and tasted like they’ve been left out in the heat for a bit too long.

DenmarkThis hotel is not worth the price. It is run down, and needs renovation. Paint is falling off from the walls outside. Rooms are small. Staff is not helpful. And it smells old.

Staff is very friendly.... location for us was excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised by the green surroundings in Flensburg. Good restaurants in walking distance... Try Gasthaus Hinkelstein 👍☺️
