Nice and clean room, easy access 24/7 , really appreciate later breakfast ( until 10:30) and later checkout (12:00) as we arrived late in the night . Good breakfast included. Great value for the money.

In general, the hotel is great. But we didn't like the beds. They are comfy, but moved apart all the night long, so my partner nearly fell between the beds.

It will be better if there is other entrance to access the hotel from the backside, since the hotel located between 2 big street...so on rainy or snowy season it will be more comfortable for the guest if they travel by car. If there is a roof at the elevator at the street level...it will be more comfortable for the guest especially on the bad weather.

The breakfast is good. My family love it. There is an elevator at the hotel, so it is easy and very helpful if you bring more luggage. Although the toilet is small...it is very clean and comfortable.

Good breakfast although the same each day. Location ideal for us as visiting family near to hotel. Not good for city centre. No bar or lounge, did not see evidence of meals outside of breakfast. Good size room but we had 3 staying.

The staff was pretty unmotivated especially during breakfast. The breakfast buffet is pretty underwhelming compared to other hotels in Hamburg around the same price. Additionally the room didn't have a kettle and not even a free water which I would expect in this category. There were empty water bottles left in our room that weren't taken away by the staff during our stay.

The location is alright however it's not a very nice area of Hamburg and a 30 minute right by bus and underground to the centre (main station). The rooms were clean.

Even tho this hotel says that their staff speaks English - on my arrival, two guys doing my check in did speak to me in German, even when I was speaking English to them. When I kindly asked them to speak English to me, they were really arrogant and were gossiping us in German. (I do understand German but prefer English to speak instead). As "international" hotel I would await kind performance from hotel staff in both international languages.

No restaurant service available yet the location is a bit far from amenities. Hence need to be mobile to go out and dine.

A lingering smell of cigarettes (although it is a non-smoking hotel mystically one of the rooms strongly smelled of it) and cleaning stuff. The room was slightly smaller than I expected it to be, compared to the other Novum hotel and other hotels we stayed in during this summer travels, for the same or lower price. It did not matter that much during our short stay but if you need to work during your stay you will either need to do that in the bed or go to the lobby. Since there is no air-con we opened the window, and having parking just outside, it was not a quiet night, but it was the regular city noise, so not too difficult. Despite the charming setting of the dining room in the basement, it was a touch too loud for the morning (TV, music). What I however really did not like were the ants all over the buffet table. A small tip for getting rid of the ants is to put out cinnamon sticks (which can add to the ambiance and charm if arranged nicely and smartly).

The staff at the reception was exceptional. Breakfast was very tasty and I loved the small individual packages of peanut butter, and Philadelphia cheese and a very beautiful and charming setup overall. The beds were comfortable. Having switches and usb port right next to the bed was a nice touch. All the parking places of the hotel were taken so we parked on the street, which was free and the car was safe and sound the next morning. The staff in the dining room was friendly and very attentive.

The good thing about the hotel is that it is close to the train station, but the area is unfortunately not safe. However, with so many advantages of the hotel, this disadvantage pales into insignificance.

The hotel for its price is lovely, the staff are friendly. There were no smells in the room, everything was clean and refurbished, there was no mould or fungus in the bathroom. Everything is of the highest standard. The breakfast was also good, simple but tasteful.

the location was really terrible for me personally cause I had to use public transport and it took about 50mins to 1 hour to get to the main central station. it was quite a distance

Noise, sound from outside. The room had no ventilation, no air conditioning. Too much noise that won't allow you to sleep if you open the window.

Overall the hotel was clean. Friendly staff. Room was small but OK for a night stay.
