The Hotel however is located above a Night Club and the noise was was disturbing. There were no parking for vehicles at the Hotel, but there is a parking garage very close and was very affordable.

It’s somewhat loud at night, but that’s to be expected due to the vicinity of the station and various clubs. Wasn’t a big issue though.

The place is extremely handy for the train and bus terminals, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the breakfast great, and service here was friendly, competent and on the spot as well.

The check-in process was a bit weird with the self-service machine. If you fill up the data on your phone, you still need to use the machine to get your room card. If you haven’t filled out the data on your devices, then you may need to queue in front of the machine if there are other guests typing on the machine. My room was facing the inner side of the building, so I couldn’t have a quality rest for two nights because the neighbors were talking extremely loud and cooked in the middle of the night and chilled afterwards. I believe, it’s their lifestyle and this will definitely occur if you stay in a room like mine. The church bell next to Hbf rang at midnight and very early, so if you care for sleeping quality, you may want to find somewhere else. The cleaning lady obviously doesn’t speak local language (in this case, it’s German language), which caused the problem that she used her key card to open my door, even though I hung the “no disturb” sign on my door outside. This is kind of unprofessional. Not knowing the language is actually no big deal, but at least understand the meaning of this special sign should be the basic training for the job, especially when the sign writes the same on both side- they both say “no disturb”.

The location cannot be better, right opposite to the central station. The bathroom is extraordinarily equipped with the rain shower, which is uncommon at such price range.The mattress was firm and provided good support, so I didn’t feel back pain or similar at all. However, the pillow was way too thick,which was hard to fall asleep with it. Breakfast was average with warm scrambled eggs, regular breads, and cheese, etc..

On Saturday night the club downstairs was loud and I couldn't open a window. Lack of A/C made it quite stuffy. A few design flaws make it hard to use the elevator and bathroom (I had to squeeze in by the shower to close the door to get to the toilet...)

Very useful location across the street from the train station. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast was quite good, with lots of fruit and hot eggs.

- The room was overall cold. - The reception doesn't work 24/7, so it might pose problematic if you need a later check-in or if you need assistance later at night and there's no one to address your concern to. - The toilet brush was broken, and as the reception doesn't work at all times, I couldn't report it. - The breakfast options were quite limited; it was only bread, cheese, ham, and jam. No vegetables or fruits were served. Also, there was no option for cold/drinkable water at the facility, only warm water for tea and juice. - The elevator didn't always work.

- The hotel is at an amazing location, right across the main train station. Next to it, there are several stores for food, refreshments, coffee, etc. And it's a 5-minute walk to the city center. - Although it was a one-person room, the space was compact and had everything it needed. - For early risers and travelers, breakfast being served as early as 6:30 was very convenient.

The lady at the reception has a very strong personality. I think her communication skills could be a bit improved and a softer tone is needed, especially when you work in hotel business :)

Elevator is small but can be managed .

Directly opposite Hbf. So easy to find very close by centre of town lots of retail and shopping options , food options.Room was clean and had everything , but as is common no drinks eg tea,coffee . Breakfast was the standout feature very plentiful great choice and fresh as could be , one of the best euro style breakfasts I have had in some time . Good shower . Check in was friendly and easy we arrived early due to trains but given the room straight away , thankfully given the freezing weather .

There was no staff upon arrival (8pm) and it was not indicated clearly how we could obtain our key to the room. The entrence looked quite desolate and the staircase/elevator was not clean.

The bedroom cleanliness was an issue as I saw many dead insects in corners and dust where the bedroom was. Additionally, our lamp blew out on us (Room 407) and I couldn’t tell reception because they were open at all until 12pm, and I have to leave before that time. I tried to communicate to breakfast staff but they didn’t understand English properly. Also! There was no iron provided in any rooms and I don’t understand why! The walls were very thin so me and my sibling could hear a couple making loads of noise during their night-time activities! It was proper embarrassing. When we were checking out, reception staff again wasn’t there!! So annoyed as I got billed when they were even available for me to report the incident! This place is perfect for a short weekend stay but they need to fix up a little more to be honest.

I love the bathroom and heating was perfect. Location and view of Pforzheim town was was perfect for the stay. It was also very close to where my family members lived. Breakfast was also a plus! Very delicious food!
