There was a strong scent of cigarettes, I had a room above a private room, first night there was loud music.

The staff's attitude: I still can't grasp that I was confronted while eating breakfast and asked to explain why my colleague (!!!) failed to respect the somewhat unusual rule to pay one day in ahead of check-out.

Wifi has improved since last time. It's clean and comfy and breakfast is good.

I didnt like rude manier- when I said that man train was delaying and I kl be in hotel approximwtly at 2300, at reception said-No, hotel will be closed. In this evening was bad communication from reception side. When I arrived after 2200, at reception declare many times that it is bad that I was after 2200. I celt extremely bad after this.

Little bit fusty air in the room. Would be nice when check-in, that reception Dame could tell automaticly where and when Breakfast. Overpriced.

The staff's English seems a bit limited. Check-in took a while because the manager couldn't find our reservation in the system, and I was told in no uncertain terms that my handwriting was to blame.

Lovely old-fashioned hotel in the traditional style. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. Really quiet despite the proximity of the road. Excellent breakfast buffet.

The owner failed to give us our Guest Cards which we only found out about on the final day. This meant we spent 30 Euros each on local bus travel which should’ve been free. When we complained about this, she just said sorry with no offer of a solution.

The room suited our purpose and was very clean. The breakfast was varied and there was plenty of it. The view from our private balcony was amazing.

The biggest issue was the language barrier. The staff are barely speaking English. It caused problems during booking and stay, but it had never reached such a direct confrontation that they had with other customers in my present. It was simple annoying.. Miscommunication during booking increased tension between us. During stay I asked about ironing possibly and they showed me their business cleaning facilities in the main building where I ironed my shirts each day. The last day I found a nice ironing room in my building basement.... I like when the staff laugh with me... not on me with other German customers in the breakfast room when I tried to explain what I need with simplified English or broken German.. The hotel is nice, well located and clean, but I won't stay there, because of the staff behaviour.

Check in was poor - waited 20 mins for someone to come and check us in and when he did arrive he clearly didn’t want to be there. Towels need to be upgraded - very old Breakfast ok - but doesn’t seem to get added to - what’s there at the start is what’s there for the morning

Very nice and friendly staff. Although Hotel and rooms are a bit outdated, the place is very clean and comfortable. Very nice SPA zone. Wonderfull view on the Mountains from balcony.

We didn’t feel that welcome at check in, just given a piece of paper to fill out and the lady went back into the back of her office without saying much at all. No information at check in. Was kind of rushed to the room and told breakfast was at 8. We had to come back down to ask for the Wi-Fi password. The area by the stairs up to our room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke.

Very cute and homely feel to the property. The bed was comfortable and we had a nice view from our balcony.

We arrived early to the hotel, then we have been informed by the staff that checkin is at 14:00 which is ok, so we aksed to use the bathroom, and we were surprised to know that the toilets are closed by the owner !!! we came back at 15:00, to checkin, and for some reason the owner was nervous, no smile at all, the following day, we had another colleague welcoming us, and we had a great breakfast, thanks to him

the owner is very rude we arrived from a long trip in the morning and they allowed us to leave the luggage but they locked all the toilets the man in the reception said the owner closed all the toilets and left and check in at 14:00 go to the church for the toilet !! really !!!

Even though the hotel was good, and had good facilities, one encounter with staff kindof ruined our experience. We a group of friends who like to play different board games at night, we asked if we could stay in a section of restaurant after dinner, where we would have more space and woudn't disturb other guests. We checked if that was okay twice, and they said "sure". So we took 2 table out of around 50, and all the others were free. But then after 10min of playing they told us off, and said they won't have us there if we won't order anything. We were forced to either order something or leave, although we didn't disturb anyone.. The lady even lied that they will have to turn off the lights - we guessed we didn't pay enough for the hotel to let us have the lights for that part of restaurant?? So we had no other choice than to go to room, where the neighboor was an elderly couple, which we hoped we didn't disturbe to much. We weren't very loud, but it might still be annoying. .. And than, after going back through the restaurant good 2 hours later almost all the lights were still on, and we could play there without any problem, with probably more confort for us and the others.. But we guess we just disn't give the hotel enough money for it... Or maybe we were just unwelcome... I suppose "Der Künde ist König" doesn't apply here. Sadly this will probably be what we will remember the hotel for, as we found so bizarre as it served no other purpose than "if you don't want to pay me extra, you can't have it".. But yeah, everything else was fine, I would rate the enstablishment with a 9-10 otherwise...

We came 15 minutes before check-in time and we had to wait in front of the hotel door which was locked. In general, it is a nice hotel, but price was a bit high (a family with two kids) for what is offered.

Spacious rooms, tasty breakfast, free parking. Close to the city center and ski area. Very helpful staff at the breakfast. The bathroom was renovated and very clean.

Room was clean and spacious with its own patio and very central to the quaint city. The wellness downstairs had a very nicely renovated steam bath and sauna. The hot tub was not filled. There are comfortably padded chairs to lay down on and relax. This was a bonus.
